Kimberly's POV

Karlie leaves the room to grab something else and Taylor starts talking to me. "So Kim, how's school," Taylor says trying to change the topic. I shrug my shoulders. "Another question, what's your favourite subject in school," Taylor asks. "Um I like Art and Media as I'm good at both subjects," I say. "Really, you will need to show me some of your artwork when I'm over at your house," Taylor says. I nod my head and Karlie walks back into the room. "Hey, Kim, are you numb yet," Karlie asks sympathetically. I nervously nod my head and Karlie puts her mask and gloves on. "It's already loose so I'll just remove it instead of filling it," Karlie says sympathetically. "Karlie," I whimper. "Kimberly honey, I know you think I'm gonna hurt you but I promise you if this tooth isn't removed it'll cause a lot of pain in your mouth," Karlie says sympathetically. I know Karlie wasn't trying to scare me but she was scaring me so Taylor comes and scoops me up. "It's okay Kim, just take some deep breaths," Taylor says encouragingly. "I I can't," I say nervously. "Just follow my breathing," Taylor says placing my hand on her heart. I start breathing slower breaths. Taylor then places me back on the chair and holds my hands tightly. Karlie grabs her pliers. "Open for me, Kim," Karlie says sympathetically. I nervously open my mouth and she positions them around my tooth and gently loosens it and then pulls it out. "Good job Kim, you're done," Karlie says encouragingly. "Thanks, Karlie," I say with a small smile. "You're welcome Kim," Karlie says returning the smile. "Let's just put this gauze pad in your mouth and Taylor, can you take her home, I have one more patient and then I'll back home," Karlie asks as she places the gauze pad in my mouth. "Sure," Taylor says. "Thanks, see you at home Kim," Karlie says giving me a small smile. "See you," I say returning the smile.

Taylor and I walk back to my house and I show Taylor my artbook. "So this is a sketch I did of a chair in our house," I say showing it to Taylor. "That's really nice, Kim," Taylor says encouragingly. "Thank you, also this is a portrait I did of Karlie," I say showing it to Taylor. "That's really good, Kim, you should show Karlie that," Taylor says and then Karlie walks into the house. "Show me what," Karlie asks. "This is a portrait I drew of you," I say showing it to Karlie. "That's really nice Kim," Karlie says. "Thank you," I say.
