"Kim, wake up honey," Karlie says as she walks into my room doing my blind and window. "Why so early," I ask. "Oh I forgot you're adjusting from your trip's time zone," Karlie says. For your information, I just came back from a trip to New Zealand for a week as my school wants us to go to another country for a week. "Get dressed and brush your teeth and come downstairs when you're ready," Karlie says. "Okay Karlie," I say. "Thanks, hun," she says. I get out of bed and get changed and brushed my teeth. I walk down the stairs when I finish doing my hair. But I noticed that Taylor was here as well and she noticed me before Karlie did "Hey Kim, how are you," Taylor says. "I'm fine thanks, how are you, Taylor," I ask with a smile. "I'm fine as well thanks," Taylor says. "So are we already," Karlie asks. "Where are we going Karlie," I ask. "Well sorry hun, but you have braces tightening appointment with Taylor today," Karlie says. I nervously glare at Karlie and she gives a smile in return. "Kim I promise you, I'll be extra careful with you," Taylor says. We walk to their office and Karlie comes next to me holding my hand and pats my hair. "Taylor," I say nervously. "Yes Kim," Taylor says. "Will this hurt," I ask nervously. "No it won't hurt hun," Taylor says. "I'll explain everything I do while I do it," Taylor says with a smile. I return the smile but mine was more of a nervous look. We arrive at the office and they take me straight to the back. I immediately stop at the sight of the chair. Both Taylor and Karlie go and sit down next to and behind the chair. "I'm sorry I'm not sure I can do this," I say nervously. "It's okay Kim, it won't hurt, I promise," Taylor says as she gets up and comes over to me. "Hey Kim, come over for a sec," Karlie says. I walk over and lay down on the chair and Karlie moves my head from the rest and places it on her lap. "Kimberly, I promise Taylor will be careful with you, I'll be right next to you," Karlie says encouragingly. I finally agree to let Taylor do her work. I move my head from Karlie's lap back onto the headrest. Even though I agreed to Taylor to do her work, I was still hesitant about it. I try to calm down but it doesn't seem to work so I start breathing heavily but then Karlie picks me up and places me on her lap. "Hey Kim, you alright," Karlie asks. "I'm nervous," I say. "Don't be, I promise Taylor will be careful," Karlie says as she places me back onto the chair. "Hey Karlie, can we talk outside the room," Taylor says. "Yeah okay," Karlie says. They both leave me here while they discuss something.
Karlie POV
"Hey Karlie, can we talk outside," Taylor asks me. "Yeah okay," I say. We leave the room leaving Kimberly sitting there as she gets nervous again. "What's up," I ask. "I don't know if Kim can handle this," Taylor says. "Yeah same," I say. "How about we bring her friend, Kianie in," I say. "Good idea, Kianie will keep her calm," Taylor says. I then call Kianie as I have her phone number. "Hey Kianie, you think you can come over to my office," I ask. "Yeah sure, I'll be 5 minutes, is this about Kim," Kianie asks. "Yes, she feels like she's gonna have a panic attack," I say. "Okay, I'll run to your office," Kianie says. "Thanks, see you in a minute," I say. We wait for 3 minutes and Kianie arrives at our office.
Kimberly POV
I am getting extremely nervous now as Karlie and Taylor have been gone for 7 minutes now. They soon walk back into the room with my friend Kianie. "Hey Kim, Karlie told me to come over as you were going to have a panic attack," Kianie says as she sits next to me. "Y yeah," I say nervously. "Kim listen I know you're afraid but Taylor won't hurt you, I promise," Kianie says. I nervously open my mouth and Taylor starts replacing my rubber bands and replaces my wire tightening it so my jaw doesn't retract forward. "Good job hun, you're done now," Taylor says. I get out of the chair and as Kianie and I start to leave the room we are immediately called back by a question fired by Taylor. "Hey Kianie, don't you also need your braces tightened," Taylor says. "Y yeah why," Kianie says nervously. "I can do it now," Taylor says.
