Karlie's POV
Kimberly, can you come down here hun," I shout from the basement. "Ok coming," she shouts back. Kimberly stops walking when she sees Taylor and I sitting right next to the chair. Kim runs back up to her room as she fills up with terror. "I hate whenever this happens," I say to Taylor. "When she fills up with terror and fear in her face," Taylor asks. "Yes, even after every time I try to make her not afraid she is always way too scared to go to the dentist," I say. "I'll go upstairs to talk to her," I say. "Okay sounds good," Taylor says. I don't know what I can do anymore to stop this fear getting the best of her.
Kimberly's POV
I run up to my room out of fear of getting a checkup. Karlie then comes up to talk with me in my room. "Hey, Kim how are you," Karlie asks with a soft smile on her face. "Karlie, I'm scared," I say nervously. "Kimberly honey I know you're afraid but I promise you it's just a simple checkup and cleaning," Karlie says sympathetically. I finally agree to let Karlie give me a checkup and I follow her downstairs to the basement. I stop at the site of the basement and Karlie picks me up as she saw nearly having a panic attack. "Kim, I promise you it won't be bad at all," Karlie says encouragingly. Karlie lays me back on the chair but not before kissing my forehead. I start breathing heavily as Karlie gets her mask and gloves on. "Kimberly honey, Karlie's your older sister she will never hurt you I promise you that," Taylor says sympathetically. I start breathing slowly. "Ok hun open for me please," Karlie says sympathetically. I close my eyes and nervously open my mouth. "Good, keep it open," Karlie says encouragingly. It doesn't hurt so I just let her do her work. Karlie then takes her explorer out of my mouth and I open my eyes to see Karlie grabbing another tool. "Ok hun, this is just a scaler it's gonna help me remove any plaque on your teeth," Karlie says sympathetically as she sees me freaking out. Karlie starts scraping my teeth and Taylor grabs my hands as she sees me about to cry. "Don't worry Kim, you're alright," Taylor says encouragingly. "Taylor, she's doing really well," Karlie says to Taylor. "I know, good job Kim you're doing great," Taylor says encouragingly. After a while, Karlie takes the scaler out of my mouth and grabs her polisher and starts polishing my teeth. "Great, good job hun you're done now," Karlie says. "Thank you," I say with a small smile. "You're welcome hun," Karlie says returning the smile.
