Chapter 20

"Its a nice country with simple folk" Avdol explained to us about India "This is Calcutta let's go" He opened the door of the ship because we just docked.

It was very hard to get through the people "Joseph!" I yelled because I got swept away by the crowd of people.

"Charlotte!" He yelled back and I got picked up by my waist and put on someone's shoulder.

"Thanks, Jotaro" I sighed in relief, and he did his signature yare yare daze and pulled down his hat.

"Isn't this a great country!?" Avdol asked happily and I laughed nervously.

We went somewhere to relax, and we tried some drink called Chai it's really good and Polnareff went off to go to the toilet.

We looked at the menu to see what we should eat, we ordered, and I was about to have the first bite of my pizza "STAND!!" Polnareff yelled.

He then ran outside, so we followed him "What's wrong?" Joseph asked.

"Charlotte the stand user you told me about is here! The one who killed my sister!" Polnareff explained.

"I will be travelling on my own now" Polnareff decided.

"That's not a good idea," I told him.

"I'm going after him right now" He turned away from us.

"I refuse to let you travel alone! Polnareff you will die if you fight him alone!" Avdol stepped forward.

"Listen here I don't care about Dio I told you all I'm only tagging along to get my revenge!" He yelled at Avdol.

"Did you forget you were once brainwashed by Dio?!" He retorted.

"You have no idea what it's like to have your sister murdered and you're a coward the last time you saw Dio you ran!" Polnareff walked off.

Avdol was gonna run after him but Joseph and me stopped him. We all heard some commotion later on and we went different ways to see if we can find out what is going on.

"Charlotte!" Joseph tried to get my attention but I couldn't stop staring at Avdol who is on the floor bleeding.

"Avdol!" I ran over and checked him to find only his forehead was bleeding he isn't dead.

"Thank god" I sighed in relief.

We got Avdol medical help, and we left him there so we could go find the other two "No telling Polnareff anything" Joseph told us.

"Wasn't planning to, we need to let Avdol fully recover before he can come back to us that means we need to pretend that he's dead and Polnareff will just tell everyone about him being alive," I told him.

Some guy ran into me and landed on top of me "Oh sorry it's looks like I fell for you and your quite the beauty" He commented.

Joseph and Jotaro pulled the guy up and both punched him at the same time.

They both held out a hand for me to take to help me up "Thanks."

We saw the other two come running to us "We already know about Avdol we gave him a simple funeral" Joseph explained to them.

"Who is that?" Jotaro asked pointing at the guy who fell on me.

"He's the one who killed Avdol his name is Hol Horse" Kakyoin explained.

Polnareff was about to kill him with his stand, but he got tackled by some woman "Please run! You're my only reason to live" She begged.

Hol Horse somehow summoned a horse and bolted it "Bye-bye Charlotte" He sang my name.
