Chapter 42

"We are going hunting" Jotaro showed off the gun on his back to me.

"Have you lost it?" I asked.

"Just come with me" He grabbed my hand and dragged me to Jouske's house and knocked on his door.

"We are about to go hunting come with us" Jotaro demanded and turned to walk away.

"Wait you said hunting just now? Does that mean we are gonna hunt down some chicks with nice bodies?" He asked and I facepalmed.

"Yes Jotaro is going to cheat right in front of me like he has done before" I added.

"What he has who with?!" Josuke freaked out.

"Probably with a dolphin" I guessed.

Jotaro flicked my forehead.

"Akira Otoishi confessed yesterday that he used the bow and shot a rat and the rat didn't die" Jotaro explained.

We went to someplace with fields and Jotaro gave me some small steel balls for my stand to shoot some cans with and my stand did it perfectly "Good Charlotte now Josuke it's your turn I'm having you both learn this to so you can shoot the rat."

We put up some more cans as his targets and Josuke hit the first one but just barely missed the second one "I will give you 90 points for that" I told him.

"I will give you 85 points" Jotaro added "Anyway Josuke you need to compose yourself if the rat enters your range and you miss it they will never enter your range again, I'm not trying to pressure you" Jotaro got closer with every word and ended up right in his face.

Josuke was bending backwards to not have Jotaro poke him in the face with his nose "Okay Jotaro lay off your putting way to much pressure on him by being that close" I pulled him back.

"Thank you Charlotte" Josuke sighed in relief.

"Charlotte how did you learn how to shoot so well?" Josuke asked me as we walked along.

"From a German called Stroheim" I explained.

They both looked at me with wide eyes "If it wasn't for that man you guys wouldn't be here he saved Joseph and me when we were gonna crash into a volcano" I explained.

"Tell me more" Josuke demanded because he wants to learn more about his father.

I told him the whole story "I hope there aren't any more of those pillar men sleeping somewhere" Josuke shivered.

"That Kars guy better stay up in space or I will send him back up there" Jotaro glared at the sky.

We went to the area the rat was last seen Jotaro said it would be a brown rat and listed off all the information about them "Jotaro I don't need to know how they have sex" I told him, and he turned to us and saw the horrified look on Josuke's face.

Jotaro then found some trail that is from a rat "There's a drainage channel that must be its nest" Jotaro pointed it out.

We set up a trap and video camera "Its one of those that let you watch while you are taping right?" Josuke asked.

"Yep" I answered.

"The trap doesn't have cheese on it" Josuke hummed to himself confused.

"Cheese is to extravagant for them" Jotaro explained.

"What? How can any food be to extravagant? That rat is missing out cheese is brilliant" I commented as I finished setting up the video camera.

"Charlotte! Jotaro!" Josuke called our names.

We went over and I had to look away immediately it was a bunch of rats in some cubes of what looks like flesh jelly "That must have been made by a stand" I told them.

"Why are you poking at it?!" Josuke yelled.

"Jotaro I'm keeping away from you if you get it on yourself" I informed him.

"Its flesh these rats have been melted and then hardened again your right Charlotte this has to have been done by a stand" We finished setting everything up and noticed the drainage leads to a farm, so we went to investigate it.

"It has probably killed the people that live there the front door is open and there aren't any chickens in the chicken coup" Jotaro used his binoculars to look at it.

We got to the house and opened the door "I found poop" I told them as we searched the house.

"Rat dropping" Jotaro corrected me and the poop leads to another room, so we followed it.

"RAT!!" I heard Josuke in another part of the house but we couldn't run to him because there is one in front of us as well.

The rat shot at both of us with its stand I dodged but Jotaro didn't and I saw his hand's flesh went mushy "Idiot!" I yelled and went to touch his hand, but he put his hand up where I can't reach.

"Don't! The same might happen to you if you touch it" Jotaro warned me.

"Well let's go find Josuke the rat ran for it through that hole" I pointed at the one in the wall.

We found him, and he was able to kill the rat he was up against "Well done" I praised him while Jotaro made sure it was dead.

"Thank you" Josuke rubbed his head shyly with a small blush on his cheeks "There are also some people in the fridge I can fix them with Crazy Diamond."

"People in the fridge? Oh, there is, this is gonna be hard to explain to them what happened" I sighed.

"Really?" Josuke asked.

"You were turned into jelly by a rat and it kept you in the fridge as a snack, yeah I don't sound insane do I?" I asked him, and he now understood what I mean.

"We still have to find one more rat it attacked us" Jotaro showed Josuke his hand that is mush "If a person gets shot five to six times they will turn completely into mush."

"I'm lucky" Josuke cringed at the sight of Jotaro's hand.

"Can you fix him please?" I asked.

"Oh right" He fixed Jotaro up.

My phone then rung "Hello?" I picked up my phone.

"We just got information from Akira Otoishi there were two rats he shot," They told me

"Yeah, we just found out tell that Akira guy I'm gonna break his arm when I get back, thank you" I hung up the phone.

"Akira just confessed to shooting two rats not one" I informed the other two.

"Yare yare daze" Jotaro sighed.

We left the place to find the rat because it ran out of the house "Jotaro how are we gonna find the rat in this huge field!?" Josuke freaked out.

"Rats have a habit of not wanting to go down an unfamiliar path" Jotaro explained.

"So you think it got caught in the trap?" I asked.

"Maybe but it definitely went back that way" Jotaro answered, and we got back to see the rat didn't even care about the trap.

Jotaro checked the footage of the video camera "We got him on tape" Jotaro told us both of them looked at it and I pulled on Jotaro's arm "I can't see I'm not a muscle-building like you two," I said annoyed.

"Sorry shorty" Jotaro moved his arm down, so I could see it as well.

"Thanks, Dolphin man" I replied and Josuke laughed.

We could see the rat was being very cautious the whole time Jotaro took out six rifle bullets from his bag.

"Seriously?" Josuke asked.

"Can't we just get some bombs and use those instead?" I asked.

"That sounds a bit dangerous," Josuke told me nervously.

"It is but it would be effective" I smiled and Jotaro sighed.
