Chapter 67

"Oh, so she drank his blood!" Jolyne yelled, and I knew I had left her with Rohan for far to long, it has only been a minute.

I freaked out when I heard that and dropped the cup of hot chocolate I had ordered for Jolyne. I froze time and caught it then when it unfroze Jolyne was looking at me amazed.

Rohan looked a little nervous since she might question me on how I did that. "Mum is amazing!" Jolyne exclaimed making us both smile.

Even if I do something impossible she just says it's possible for me because I'm amazing.

"Dio might have actually gotten along with you." I mumbled as I went over and placed down our drinks. "Not like I'm ever letting you meet him."

"He did come back once." Rohan spoke up.

I just grinned showing I will just send him back to hell before he gets to Jolyne.

I sat down, and Jolyne held up her arms so I picked her up and put her on my lap. Rohan explained his next manga chapter to me, and I suggested what angles to draw from and what would work well with drawing certain things.

Jolyne looked impressed and very confused during it then started nodding her head and smiling when Rohan would praise my advice.

There was a lot of praise, so it was like she was head-banging.

Rohan's editor eventually arrived and she introduced herself as Izumi it seems the meeting was going well. "Oh yeah, Mr Rohan...Remember that forty-five-page one-shot comic of yours that's due by the end of the summer? Did you decide what it will be about yet?" Izumi asked him.

Jolyne pointed at me. "How about butterflies?" I suggested knowing she adores them.

"Ah." Jolyne looked to be having trouble deciding then pointed at me again making me hug her.

"Sadly not. I have asked before and Charlotte-senpai rejects every time." Rohan informed Izumi.

"Every event in my life is basically trauma filled. I don't need people to say how main character I am again from all of it." I sighed.

Josuke and Okuyasu said the other day that my past sounds like a hero or a main character.

That isn't a good thing. I want a peaceful life now.

"What about an annular eclipse?" Rohan hummed.

"Wow! That is such a great idea!" Izumi exclaimed. "But if you will hold that thought for a moment, what if instead you made it about someone purchasing a villa in the mountains?"

"...That's it?" I asked.

"You need Speed! And Zeppeli spaghetti!" Jolyne exclaimed. "Mum makes better stories."

"Is it really that dull?" Izumi laughed. "It is, isn't it?"

"Wait. Hold on a second!" Rohan exclaimed Jolyne paused just when she was about to eat some cake and I made her eat it before she dropped it. "What was that about a villa in the mountains?"

"I think it's a good idea for a comic!" Izumi grinned. "You could use the opportunity to gather reference material for the one shot!"

"Not that! You mentioned making a purchase!" Rohan yelled. Jolyne kicked the table to make the scene more dramatic for him and he high-fived her.

"Thinking of settling down in a nice town?" I asked Izumi.

"Yes!" She nodded.

"No! You found out I went bankrupt from buying a mountain the other day!" Rohan yelled.
