Eva's pov:

"what the hell happened here " I screamed as I saw the door of my apartment open wide and the glasses of the window broken on the floor , without thinking I ran inside , but got stopped by a hand holding my wrist , I looked to find Nickolas looking at me with concern in his eyes .

"let's go in together , there might be someone in there" I nodded my head at him , knowing that if I asked him to wait outside for me we will probably end up fighting , so I just agreed .

we walked hand in hand , nick walking in front of me , looking around to see if anyone is in here , after making sure that no one was in the apartment I started looking around to see what was missing, I didn't have much to begin with , while I was searching through my stuff nick started calling people over to fix the door and the window and for a unknown reason he called a bodyguard to.

after looking around for a while I couldn't find my laptop some money that I left on the table to pay the rent and my TV was gone some part of me was glad it was just a robbery and nothing more while I was standing in the middle of my apartment my phone started with air ringing it was Bella

" Hi bill"

" Hey honey where are you let's have some fun tonight "

"Sorry but I can't" I said while sighing

"oh, someone has another date already"

"Yup I have a date, the best type of date ever I'll be visiting the police for a picnic and sleeping in a hotel for a change of pace "

Bella's laugh stopped "that's not very funny Eva what's going on girl? "

"I just came home and found my door open wide and a lot of my stuff stolen "

"what oh my god , thank god you weren't home, or you would have gotten hurt" Yup I wish I were home to catch the bustard I thought to myself

"yeah well I have to go I need to find a cheap hotel to stay at "

" are you crazy get your stuff ready you're coming to my place ."

"I can't Bella"

"yes, you can , my roommate moved out couple of months ago, so her Room is empty you can use that Room"

I thought for a while and decided why not , it well be nice to have a roommate" OK under one condition I start paying rent right away, I was planning to find a new place anyway "

"got it Romy , should I come pick you up ?"

"no, it's OK , nick is with me , I will bring some important stuff and come right away see you soon bye"

right after I finished the call ,nick was standing behind me with a frown on his face

" who was that on the phone? "

"it was Bella asking me if she should pick me up"

" why should she pick you up?" his frown deepened

" I'll be moving in with her"

he chuckled slowly and looked at me with a smirk on his face

" honey the only place you'll be sleeping at is my place"

" no nick I am staying with bella, I am not moving in with you "

"why not ?"

"because it's too soon nick "

" I am your boyfriend Eva , you should be staying with me , not her "

"and she is my best friend nick , I trust her "

"you have known her for a month Eva "

"and I have known you for a month and I trust you "

"it's not the same Eva" nick looked at me with sadness in his eyes which pained me too

I stepped in front of Nick and held his hands in mine and with my thumb I started rubbing his hand gently and I said

" OK let's do this give me a month, if after a month everything goes well then I will move in with you and you can make our relationship public, what do you say "

I saw the frown on nick's forehead cease and a gentle light entered his eyes

"there's no way I can make you change your mind, can I ?"

" I'm sorry nope " I said popping the P

" OK got it only one month after that you're all mine " nick said as he hugged me closer to him I took a deep breath in taking as much as of his calming smell as possible, I hugged him closer and holding him as strong as possible wishing that I am not dreaming and that this man was real

"I need to pack" I said lazily "

"I will call some help, you have been working all day , don't exhaust yourself " Nick said while getting his phone out of his suit pocket.

" no need I am taking only the necessary stuff for today ;I can pack the other stuff on the weekend"

" OK I will go tell them to fix lock and the window " he took a step away from me and before he can leave, I called his name and held his wrist

"nick"

"uhmmm" nick said while looking into my eyes tenderly

"thank you for understanding , I know I can be stubborn sometimes " I tip toed to his face and slowly brushed my lips on his while lifting my hands to his hair tugging slowly at the ends of it , at first he was shocked but it didn't take him long before he reacted the same way , hugging me closer to him , after a while both of us pulled away and a small blush crept on my face

"I should pack now "

"yeah you should "

he left after that leaving me paralyzed and happy , I packed all the stuff that I needed for the couple of days and nick drove me to Bella's apartment , when we reached there I saw Bella and joseph standing outside waving for me and welcoming me with a smile on their faces

"what is he doing here?" nick asked with greeted teeth

" oh yeah I forgot to tell you , joseph lives next door "
