Nickolas's pov: 

i never thought that falling in love and being with woman that i love can make me this happy , right after me and Eva made love for the first time (or several first times, I cant remember) she slept soundly in my arms , her face had a slight blush with a couple of bid of sweets on her forehead , reminding me of how wild and amazing what we had just now was, I held her closer and held her to me breathing her smell , her body shivered slight under my touch which made me aware of the fact that both of us were naked under the sheet , i got worried that she might catch a cold , so i hurriedly got up and wore my underwear after that i brought a clean cloth with warm water and cleaned her up a bit , I made her wear one of my clean shirts and after that i turned the heater on to warm the room slightly , after i finished all that i went to sleep beside her on the bed hugging her tightly and feeling her heart beats against my own .

we spent a couple of hours in bed before we left to eat lunch , and as always no matter what she wore she always looks hot , maybe i should consider hiding her somewhere were no one can find her in , we ate lunch and we went to the hospital to see my mom . 

when the doctor said that Eva was doing better, i felt a weight left of my shoulder , all that was left for my mother to get better and i can have my family home with me , i knew that i was rushing things with Eva , but for me i just knew that she was the only women i will ever have in my life , so why should i hold back, i was already planning a lot of stuff for us , but first i had to protect her and make sure she is safe and always within my reach . 

after we visited my mom the phone call which i was dreading finally came , i looked at Eva before i answered my phone , i stepped a bit far to make sure no one heard the conversation that's gonna happen 

"Nickolas royal speaking"

"royal , its been a while , i heard your looking for me , who pissed you of now man ?" the man on the phone asked with a quit laugh that anyone could tell that it didn't mean he was having fun

" it has been , lets meet up , our usual place in an hour "

"got it " and after that all that was heard the sound of the phone hanging up , he must have understood that i cant talk right now , anyways i decided to drive Eva home before going to meet him , but of course she insisted that she wants to stay which made me happy that she was getting along with my mother , usually i wouldn't let her stay alone here even though she is strong and can protect her self in case anything happens but i will never take such chances , but since Jason already told me he is coming to visit in an hour , i allowed her stay , i called two bodyguard in case anything happens, i left the hospital with a heavy heart , i never knew that meeting up with that man again can stir such emotions in me , but i guess Eva was right, she once told me that no matter what "if you were once in the mafia your always in the mafia " even thought i told her that she was wrong but deep down i knew that what she said was the truth. 

i reached the abandoned apartment complex in the middle nowhere , i had once let Jason buy this place for me so i can take care of my unofficial business without anyone noticing , the building looks abandoned and rusty from the outside but the moment you step in , you get greeted with a well decorated building , the moment i stepped in  four men in black suits came and greeted me bowing there heads down 

"welcome sir , SIR Viktor is waiting for your office "

i walked past the men , and went towards my office before i reached one of my men who were standing at the door opened it for me , the moment i stepped in i saw a man in black pants and grey t-shirt sitting at my chair with his legs on my desk 

"get your fucking legs of my desk before i break them for you " i glared at Russian man who had a smirk on his face and under his tall silver hair was a deep black ayes that could drown anyone in them 

"calm down man , i was just chilling" Viktor said as he got up and walked towards me , in a second he was in front of me getting his hands out of his pockets he took another step and hugged me a brothers hug , i let out a small chuckle as i patted his back 

"its been a while bro , how have you been , how is you mother doing ?"

"she's doing fine , and i am doing good to " i said as i walked towards my desk , Viktor let out a small laugh before he said 

"if your doing so good , why am i here boss " 

"former boss victor , you are your own boss now " i frowned 

"once a boss nick , always a boss " i let out a sight as i said 

"lets get to business , i need your help with something"

"i am all ears man " i took a file out of the first drawer and gave it to Viktor ,  he leaned closer and took the file of the desk 

"these are people from the former mafia what was it called again !!!!  ah yes , the Yegor gang , they were good until their boss got killed by one their enemies and the whole gang scattered around , but why are you giving me this list " Viktor slammed the file down and leaned in his chair  

"i want a full report in every single one of these men in this file "

"okay , but why ?"

"if my calculation is right then they are planning to reform the gang "  i frowned as i thought about that 

"and why should we care , its not like they are threat to us "

"they are a threat , the leader that they want is your bosses future wife...."
