chapter 41

Eva's pov:

"nick , who is that man ?" i felt his body stiffen when i asked him, i turned around and held his cheeks as i a said softly "you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to " his body calmed down and his stiff hands held my waist closer as he kissed my lips slowly and passionately, after a while both of us had to push ourselves a way because we were breathless 

"lets pick up my mother first and have lunch and tonight i will tell you everything "

"Nickolas you don't..."

"i do Eva ,  to have a healthy relationship we don't need any secrets between us , so i should tell you everything you need to know " a ray of warmth passed in my eyes , i was one lucky woman that's for sure 

"okay , i got it lets go pick up your mother first and we can talk tonight in bed " i saw a small smirk on nicks face as he got closer to my ear and whispered 

"i would prefer to have a different kind of talk in our bed love" my face turned bright red as i hit his chest with my hand , he laughed out loud at my reaction which sent shivers of pleasure all of my body "okay i wont tease you anymore , lets go "

we intertwined our fingers as we walked through the building , people were looking at us strangely , and some were whispering 

"god , they look so good together "

"i know right , its like celebrities walking together in their own world "

"celebrities , what are you an idiot , when have you seen such a fitting gorges couple in the entertainment  world "

"yeah right , you should say like a goddess and her god " i couldn't help but feel weird hearing all these comments , but i guess they are right , Nickolas looks like a Greek god 

"its seems some of my employers need some raise " nick smirks as he looked at me and pulled me towards the opened door of the car that was waiting for us and ben waiting outside of it 

"i hope i am one these employers boss" i said as i slid in the car , but before nick sat in the car he said 

"its gonna be all yours one day , soon my love , soon" i felt awestruck and dumbfounded for a second before i asked 

"what's that supposed to mean , MR. Nickolas  ?" he got closer as he held my hand in his and kissed it slowly while looking in my eyes 

"it means my love , that one day i will make you lawfully mine "

i stared at him slightly before Nickolas's phone started ringing getting me out of my daydreaming , i looked outside the window and stared at the cars around us while we were driving towards the hospital , and deep down i just hoped that this peaceful life can keep on going like this .

we reached the hospital and picked up nick's mom and left to eat lunch at a fancy restaurant , nick's mom was complaining about the fact that she was staying with us and not in her own home , saying that we are young and we need our space , but there was no way either me or Nickolas would have allowed her to live alone while she can stay with us , so after lunch we arrived home and when we arrived we found all of the servants and the smith's with Jason were there to standing at the door waiting for us , MRS. smith started crying when she saw Leena and came and hugged her , after everyone exchanged the hello's we sat together and talked for a bit before Nickolas asked everyone to leave since his mother needed more rest and sleep , everyone left but Jason stayed for a while longer to talk with nick about some business , i went with lenna to her room and helped her to change her clothes into a comfortable ones that she can sleep in them 

"thank you Eva , you didn't have to , the nurse can help me with this stuff " nick's mom said as i was helping her to brush her silky long brown hair 

"uhm , its alright Lenna , i wanted to help " i smiled to her hoping she wouldn't refuse me , 

"honestly my reasons are quit selfish for helping you so please don't blame me " i said with a sad smile in my face 

"what do you mean ?"

"nick probably have not told you , but i am an orphan , so i never had a mother figure in my life , but since i meet Nickolas and of course you  , i feel like that hole is gradually being filled " i smiled bitterly at her as i finished tying her hair in a loose ponytail so she can sleep comfortably 

"oh sweetie come here " Leena's eyes were filled with tears as she opened her arms wide and asked me to get closer  , i went towards he as she i kneeled to be on the same height as her since she was sitting down , i went closer and she held both of my hands in hers and with a smile full of warmth she said 

"i always wanted a daughter , but i never had that chance , but now i know that i have the most beautiful kind hearted daughter ever in front of my eyes , that's of course if you don't mind " she opened her arms asking me for a hug , as i was scared that mu voice would quiver from how emotional i was i decided to just nod my head and hug the woman in front of who is giving the warmth that i never had  , as i hugged her closer i couldn't help but shed a few tears 

"oh honey, your part of the family now , don't cry , and show me your beautiful smile " i chuckled a bit as i moved back and let her wipe my tears 

"sorry , i have been a bit emotional lately , i wont cry anymore " when i finished talking a tall figure opened the door and came in , when he saw my teary eyes his got suprised but after he noticed how we were sitting he smiled as he said 

"what are you ladies doing ?"

"nothing " me and Lenna said at the same time making the three of us chuckle , after that me and nick went to our room to let Lena rest her body , it was only 9 pm but i couldn't help but feel exhausted , my body was screaming for sleep , i took warm shower and went towards the bed , there i found nick laying on his back while he was staring at the ceiling , with a frown between his eyebrows , i slid in my side of the bed and went closer to nicks side as i leaned on his chest and laid there

"do you want to talk about it " it took him a while before he took a deep breath and said 

"he is my uncle ....and the man who killed my father...."
