Nickolas's pov :

i was in the middle of a meeting with Viktor and Jason with me and a couple more guys that i trust , we were talking about the situation we have in hand , and how to handle it , when my phone started ringing , at first i saw that it was mark calling me so ignored it telling myself that i will call him back later , but after five minutes the phone kept on ringing which made me frown , i lifted my hand for the guys to keep quit for a second 

"yes mark ?"

"uhm .... sorry for troubling you sir , but....." 

"what's going on ?" i don't know why , but i felt my heart beat faster

"i am sorry sir , but we cant find miss Eva anywhere" i stood up right away as i clenched my phone , everyone in the room was staring at me as i was screaming 

"what do you mean you cant find her ?"

"she .... she wrote you a note saying that she will be back soon and not to worry " i calmed down a bit when the possibility of her being kidnapped again wasn't there 

"how the hell did no one notice her going out ?"

"i ... i don't know sir , i am so...."  before mark could apologize again i took a deep breath in and calmed myself down , i could her Joanna in the background crying 

"its okay mark i will take care of this , you go and calm Joanna down " i hanged up the phone and stared at it for a while , it was my fault , i knew that Eva cant sit around and be restrained like that , i should have stayed at home today  with her , i sighted again as i rubbed my temples  

"what's going on nickolas ?" jason asked me 

"Eva is missing , give me a second i have to make a call " i said to him as i moved aside , i took my phone and dialed Eva's number , i can hear the phone ringing but she wasnt answering , finally she the phone went through 

"Eva, where are you ?" i said right away 

"nick....." her hoarse voice made my heart break , she was crying , why is she crying , did something happen to her is the baby okay ????, i felt my heart go a thousend beats a mile 

"Eva are you crying ? where are you ? are you okay ? are you hurt ? " i was passing around the room with one hand in my hair , i was waiting for Eva to reply but all of a sudden a man's voice came through , i stopped in my tracks as i wanted to kill someone , both of Viktor and Jason were by my side as i was talking with man on the phone , after a minute or so , it sounds like he was someone eva knew , i calmed down as i told him my address 

"i have to go " i said to the guys and walked towards the door

"wait let me come with you " Viktor said as he grabbed his stuff

"i will take care of things here, call me when you get home , i will be after you in a while " Jason said as i nodded my head and walked to my car , after 15 minutes i was finally home , i didn't go in as i waited for Eva to arrive , i stayed at the door and Viktor by my side , he was trying to calm me down , when my car came in view , the moment the car stopped i went towards it right away , i opened the door to find Eva looking pale and her eyes red from crying while her hands were shiviring slightly

"whats wrong love ? what happend ?"i said as i touched her face gently 

"we should get her inside first " the man said as he approached me , i stood up right away and glared at the man in front of me but when i heard him call eva , my eva , angel i felt my blood boil 

"who the f*ck are you ?" as i screamed at him i felt a tug and pull on my sleeve i looked down to see Eva looking at me as she said
