Empty Space

By Inventedbeliever

To fill the empty space
In our lonesome hearts
We must leave our home base
And dodge all poison darts
Stand up from being knocked down
And dancing through the light
Praising our one crown
Just so we can make it right

Funerals were once celebrating,
The life that has been lost
But now it seems so monotone
And counting how much they cost.
Calling those without a phone,
Just to be laughed at in your face
And find yourself, once again:
stuck in the empty space.
