"Hey, Nia, where will you be this holiday?"

"I don't know. Most likely with the princess, but she has been gone for a couple of days for now. So...I guess I'll remain on Ed—I mean, I'll be back at home."

"Then why don't you come and play with us? There's some great places to be this year, you know."

"Hm? I don't know about that..."

"Ehhh? Come on, I'm sure your mothe—uh, your guardian will agree. It's in the capital, too!"

"Well, I'll have to ask the princess about such a matter first. However, I would hate to disturb her while she's on important matters..."

"I don't see why not?" picking the best moment, I entered their conversation with maximum style.

"P-Princess Roselia!?"

Yes, it is I, Roselia! Ugh...I think I picked up bad habits from that elf...

Actually, why were people so surprised whenever I show up? Especially those affiliated with Eden? The time with the Kassogtha crew was a good example...they didn't seem aware of my "arrest" until quite late, when the problem was basically resolved. Did nobody keep tabs on me? Not that I mind, but it was rather odd. Or did Eden operate on a need to know basis? I honestly don't know.

Whatever the case may be, I wasn't complaining. The lack of information circulation was what allowed me to get out of the pinch before. If my subordinates were immediately informed of matters, then Orphelius would have no doubt been consumed by hellfire by now. Perhaps my subordinates didn't inform them on purpose, knowing that. They probably were angry to begin with, but they held back because I ordered them to. At least, that's what I think...optimistically.

Since I had managed to return with results, they weren't as furious towards the Kingdom. Since everything was reasonable to be considered as "part of my plan", so they didn't say much about my arrest and subsequent enslavement. In their eyes, the "genius" of my plans were much more important to discuss than a piece of bad news that didn't result in much in the end.

Besides, it wasn't as if I didn't do these kind of things before. If they remember the time from Brave New World, then they would understand I would frequently go on dirty jobs such as cleaning sewers or being captured for the sake of a greater goal. To them, Roselia should be an individual that would take any option to achieve an objective. As such, that was probably why they didn't request the invasion of the Kingdom after all was said and done.

Well, that or the vote of diplomacy. When I wasn't around, the Four Heavenly Queens should have ran things. Horizon would no doubt follow my orders, Jibril would probably have wanted to level their nation, Aura probably agreed with Jibril, and Rin would have...sided with Horizon? I don't know, Rin was a wildcard. It's hard to predict her when military matters weren't involved.

That would mean the tiebreaker would be left up to Tenko, who would most likely choose to wait and see, since she probably understood my nature the most. When I said "don't do anything, I'll handle this" or something along those lines, she probably listened to me, considering she had been with me for many of the quests in Brave New World.

As a result, she probably wasn't as concerned about the matters of humiliation as the others. Probably was, but not as much. She was more inclined to be more pragmatic in situation like these, especially when it's "all part of my plan". Tenko was good to have around when you needed people to read between the lines, even if she read a bit too hard between the lines where nothing actually existed.

Whatever the situation was, it turned out well in the end. Although I was aware of the disgruntlement that they didn't get to invade again, but it seems my subordinates were mostly satisfied with the end result. Even though I didn't make a big deal out of it, but I somehow accidentally dodged a massive bullet there, huh? Things lined up so nicely that it prevented an invasion of the Kingdom. The situation could have very well ended up in a storm of unrelenting napalm fire...Really need to be more careful with my subordinates in the future, lest they get any ideas.
