The Mark

I met with the president everyday, we discussed strategies for human survival; he also introduced me to some of the world's most powerful leaders. At a conference organised by the president, he asked me to explain how my Renewable 02 worked and it's needfulness for our survival. As we walked down the hallway heading for the conference, he told me he admired my strategy for war and survival, explaining that if Nigeria was to assume world power we would have to deal with the threat of the fallen stars. Four days into our stay, the president was about to send soldiers to every state to combat the fallen stars; just then we heard screams inside and outside the villa. I ran outside to find guards screaming and holding their heads, they seemed to be in excruciating pain, I left them and ran to the room where my kids stayed, I got there and found them experiencing the same phenomenon, I tried to cuddle them to reduce the pain but it didn't seem to help. The ordeal lasted for four minutes, everyone that experienced it had a sign inscribed on their backs just above the spine that looked like a language. An envoy from Israel said it was in fact Aramaic, an ancient language. After hours of research I realised the good book spoke about a mark given to the elect left behind. I called Udeme to find out if everyone had experienced the same thing. He said even Vincent had gotten the mark; a burden hampered my breathing---it just dawned on me I was the only one without the mark. The day we were supposed to leave Aso Rock the president ordered soldiers in battalions to different states to extirpate the fallen stars, several people such as Sikhs,  Buddhist,  and many others from various religious backgrounds came to me clandestinely to be converted to Christians, only five said they would rather die than convert. I encouraged the presidents efforts and told him to focus on his duties till he got his own mark. He attached a battalion to me and commissioned my house a stronghold from where they would take back Calabar. He also elevated my rank to Major General. I radioed Udeme to secure the airport, when we landed we took heavy attack from the stars who multiplied twice over than the last time we met them, we lost a soldier that day but got home safely to bury his body.
