First Trumpet

       The first angel sounded and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth and the third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up...

        At about 6:10am, there was absolute silence everywhere for half an hour; we used that time to clean up, shower and survey the area for stars. Ntekim and Omawumi with some other soldiers had made breakfast so everyone came around to eat and return to their posts. 7:45am was the start of turmoil for all humans, a trumpet sounded and even with the ear buds we could still hear the sonorous blast. It began to rain blood, then petite pebbles too many to count some of which were on fire. That day we battled to keep the house from burning, we lost three soldiers that day, two female soldiers who got burnt and one male who was hit on the head.
    It rained like this for two weeks non stop, many lives were lost especially those who were relocating to Abuja for safety. The only things unaffected by the hail were the fallen stars, sometimes we would see them come into the house to search for human life but we had left the house and gone underground with all our supplies as the structural integrity was damaged. Also I was tired of burying my men so I ordered everyone to go underground till when it was absolutely necessary to go out.
