Third Person
A bloodcurdling scream echoed through the halls of the Palace of Xaos. It carried through the halls of gold, silver and Olympian steel. It seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere. It was a frightening, inhuman sound that shook the inhabitants of the palace to their cores. And at the center of it all was one black-haired, green-eyed demigod named Percy Jackson.
Percy heard the scream and immediately leaped from his chair and ran down the hall, shoes skidding against the floor of the beautiful Aithousa krystallon, the crystal hall. He threw open the door of the room he knew to be Kladisa's and stopped in the doorway, completely shell-shocked at the sight.
Evan lay upon the floor, limbs splayed about, a look of horror plastered to his face. Blood pooled pooled around him from the wound in his stomach, staining his white shirt. Kladisa was bent over him holding a knife, a rabid look on her face. Percy moved forward, but before her could wrestle the knife from her grip, she slit Evan's neck, in one graceful, fluid movement.
Percy stared at her, shell-shocked. He remained standing there, staring, as the other members of the team ran in behind him. He heard them gasp in disbelief and horror.
"You see your leader now?" Kladisa growled, an insane gleam in her eyes. "He's dead! I killed him! Now do you see how weak he his? His humanity?" Kladisa brought the knife up to her lips and licked the blood off it.
Percy stood silently, and then suddenly struck, grabbing Kladisa by the neck and snapping her neck before she could even perceive what was happening. He let her limp body fall to the ground, her insane ramblings dying along with her.
"Someone call Chaos," Percy took his title of Commander without problem, ignoring the shock of the other occupants of the room. He pushed down his grief, all of his emotions, leaving only a stone-cold warrior behind. He had lost enough people in his life to learn how to move on.
