Chapter 15 -Some people just don't get the hint!

~AT SCHOOL~

Take a picture it lasts longer, I thought sarcastically as Luke and I made our way from the office after getting everything that I needed. He had arm protectively around my waist but that didnt stop the wolf whistles and hoots from the male population on the school in the hallway.

Maybe they're doing it at someone else? A little voice in my head told me.

Yea, I thought back, I think they are. That thought was quickly dashed when I looked around me and saw some of the girls glaring at me. Their thoughts telling me 'Who does she think she is?! Stupid bitch.' Sneers marred their somewhat pretty faces, though it was hard to tell with the make-up on their faces.

How dare they! My battle angel called in my head. You are better than these girls, it continued. Hold your head high and show them what you've got!

I almost chuckled at my battle angel having to tell me how to deal with girls in highschool. I felt silly, but did as told and raised my chin and staring back at the stared, glares and lustful gazes, with a small friendly smile on my face. Some smiled back, even waved; some of which I recognised from the ball. Others just turned away snorting unattractively commenting on my clothing blah blah blah. Sluts. And other that stared lustfully, got cocky and started towards us, obviously thinking that there was more to my smile than I let on. *Sigh*

Now, don't get me wrong, there wasn't wrong or slutty with my clothing. I was wearing a comfy sleeveless black dress with large dulled flowers on it in random places, that was tight around my bust, elasticated at the waist and flowed down to my mid-thigh, ripped black tights, black leather silver studded ankle flat boots and a badass leather jacket with lots of zips. I added bangles, silver jingly earrings that had leaves, feathers, silver spheres and flowers dangling from the hooks and a necklace that had two outspread wings on its delicate chain. So all-in-all, I didn't look like a cheap whore. So what was with the looks?

As I was thinking this, a tall living breathing 'Ken' barbie doll started our way. I stopped, wiping the smile off my face looking him dead in the eye. He had a smirk on his face and a herd of girls tottering after him. I looked past him at his crowd of friends, they looked kind of nervous, but eyed me up at the same time. Typical.

“Hey sugar.” 'Ken''s voice reached my ears as I brought my eyes back to his. Well they would be his, if he were looking at my eyes. He was looking at my boobs. Maybe this dress was a bad idea, I thought with a mental sigh.

“The name isn't sugar and my eys are up here.” I put as much ice into my voice. His eyes lifted my mine, widening at my hostility.

“C'mon on babe, don't be like that. If ya want, I'll give a tour of school?” More like the janiter's closet, his after thought ran through my mind. My blank mask melted into outrage. I took a step forward, raising my hand in a fist, but Luke stopped me. With one hand, he gently held onto my wrist, the other arm wrapping around my waist.
