You woke up in your bed, sweat dripping off your body. Frantically, you check your body, particularly your neck. Surely, you died, right? Toby basically cut off your head, you were positive. You felt his blades slice through you. You felt around your neck, but it was surprisingly not sore. Did you really die?

The door opens, and Sally's head poked in. She skips over, and jumps onto the bed excitedly.

"(Y/N)! Oh, how I missed your cute face!" she smiled so brightly, "He said I wasn't allowed to see you, but now that the process is done, I can see you again! Who knew you could pass the test, maybe you're just a natural born killer." Sally winks and hugs Mr. Teddy to her chest.

"What do you mean process? I'm no killer."

"You didn't believe you were staying here, right? Most people don't survive a day in this place, let alone a month!" there was no way it had only been a month, you felt like you had been here for years!

"Sally, what are you talking about? Why am I even here? I thought I died." you reach up at your neck again, but she just giggles.

"You're so silly! Only people with the mental capacity of a killer could possibly stay this long. He saw something in you, and saw that your body was naturally adjusting to this house! Nobody dies here, so now you can play with me forever!" she jumps into a hug, snuggling into your shoulder.

Forever? There was no way! You never killed anyone, and didn't plan to anytime soon. You didn't wanna be Sally's playmate, you just wanted to die. You must be dreaming, yet every time you pinched yourself you felt the pain. How could someone like you be a killer? Sure, maybe you were depressed and suicidal. Sure, you probably had some sort of PTSD. Sure, you were even a prodigy in teaching yourself martial arts. None of that shaped you into a cold-blooded, monstrous freak killer. You weren't like that.

"Sally, I'm not a killer." she pulls away, then climbs out of bed, walking towards the door.

"You're so funny, (Y/N). Meet me in my room sometime so we can play!" she disappeared through the door.

Your brain hurt. Why was this happening? You couldn't kill for the life of you, not even Toby.

Speak of the devil, he walked in seconds after Sally's disappearing act. Toby makes his way over to the bed, but stops halfway when he sees you cower back into your covers and against the far corner of the bedpost.

"You're afraid," as he gets closer, you feel your heart racing faster.

You couldn't predict any of his moves, but all you knew was the pain he caused you constantly. Toby unhinges his hatchets, and stops to place them far in front of the bed. His hands reach up to remove his headgear, which successfully eased your mind a bit.

"I'm not here to hurt you," you raise an eyebrow, "right now, that is."

"I would beg you to kill me if it were possible, but now that I can't die, I guess I'm as good as the dirt on the ground you can kick around. Sorry for feeling fearful of the eternal pain you'll be inflicting on me." you push further away and bring your legs into your chest as Toby sits down.

"I just wanted to get my anger out and test if it were true. It would make sense that being around another murderous presence would give me flashbacks now that I know your body is easily accustomed to our world."

"It didn't mean killing was your option. I would've felt better if you cut a hand off instead. It hurt like a bitch, you know." you glare at him, and he turns remorseful.

Toby rested for a second, but his face lit up at an offer he was sure you'd take. Stuttering over his words, he smiles, anticipating your response.

"We can make it even, then. How about I let you kill me as payback!"
