My wings had grown tired, but I knew I had to press on. I wouldn't drown per se, but I don't like water. After realizing some of my creations were becoming ruthless animals, I don't know what would happen to my marine animals. Would they try to attack me?

After a bit, I realized I literally couldn't keep going. My wings couldn't handle it anymore. I slowly began to drop as I had my wings straight, gliding gently downwards toward the water until...

"Thought you said you could handle forty days and nights." A smug, rough voice sounded beside me. I rolled my eyes inwardly and huffed.

"Forty days and nights, yes. I didn't expect it to take longer. That wasn't the plan." I stated. "It seems as though God has changed a few of her plans."

Crowley snickered a little and rolled his eyes. "What happened to 'the L-she changes not?'"

I roll my eyes and keep sauntering down towards the water. I can't keep this up.

"Right, here we go." Suddenly he's below me and his golden eyes are staring directly into mine. "Trust me?"

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Course not."

That made Crowley smile a bit. But his eyes showed that he wanted me to trust him... that I can trust him.

"Just retract your wings, love. I promise I'll catch you. I'll carry you until we find land, alright?" He stated, his arms outstretched.

I hesitate... but I nod. I retract my wings back into my body and drop into his arms. I'm shaking from very slight terror. I hate dropping. It reminds me of my fall...

"Shhh I got you, (y/n). It's alright. Let's find land together, alright?" He smiles warmly at me. I nod stiffly and somehow he managed to carry the weight of both of us.

After nearly 27 hours, we finally find land. I had gotten the rest I needed hours ago, but he insisted to keep going with me. I saw a dove come towards us and I smiled at the small bird.

"Noah told you to find land didn't he?" I asked.

The bird tweeted in response a very firm 'yes.' I smiled and walked towards an olive branch I saw just moments ago and picked off a twig.

"Alright sweetie, do you remember which way to the ark?" I asked, to which I got another affirmation. "Great. Give this to Noah. Let him know the flood is almost over."

The bird took the twig in its mouth and flew off, leaving me and Crowley alone.

"You really speak to animals?" He asked, his head tilted.

"Obviously. I created them remember?" I stated. "They're much nicer than humans. And wildly misunderstood."

He nodded thoughtfully and shrugged. "Alright. Well, (y/n) I have some tempting I need to get done soon before hell goes to... well, hell." He chuckled. "Mind being my temptee?"

"How about instead, I smack that smirk right off your face?" I rolled my eyes, a smile playing across my lips.

"Hmm tempting. You sure you're not a de-"

"Don't. Even. Insinuate that." You growled, eyes turning red. "I am not a demon."

He held his hands up in surrender.

"Touchy subject. I'll remember that." He stated. "But really. Not even a small temptation?"

I huff and blow my (h/c) bangs out of my face, curious as to what he wanted exactly.

"Depends, demon. What's the temptation and what's in it for me?" I ask, looking up into those gorgeous eyes.

I could get lost in them forever.

"Nothing for you. That's why it's called a temptation." He chuckled. "Not a deal. How about... kiss me."

I raised my eyebrow and laughed, firmly believing he's joking.

"Good one, Crowley. Didn't think demons could joke." I giggled.

"Im serious, (y/n). Kissing a demon is bad, is it not?" He smirked, moving closer to me. I backed up with every step he took.

"That's not a temptation that your lot do. Adultery maybe. But not kissing." I stated. "You're just wanting a pretty girl to kiss you. Sorry, Crowley, but maybe some other time."

With that, I flew off again. This time, the demon didn't follow.

During the Reign of Terror

"Let go of me!" I growled, thrashing a bit as two men held my arms.

I was being put in a dungeon of all things. "You'll regret getting on my bad side! You really don't want to do that!"

I get my hands cuffed into chains as the men leave me there and shut the door.

"(Y/n)? What on Earth are you doing here?" A familiar voice asked from across the room.

I looked up and mentally kicked myself. "Aziraphale. How lovely to see you. If you must know, I was looking for someone and when the king of France ran into me, I told him he can shove his apologies up his-"

"Okay, okay, I get it. No need for any fowl language." He chuckled. "You seem to get into a bit of trouble a lot hmm?"

"Oi shut it. Why are you here, angel? Shouldn't you be prancing around, happy as a clam?" I huffed. Why do I have to be stuck with him of all people? I'd prefer Crowley over this guy.

"Ahh my dearest!" A voice came from the door.

Me and Aziraphale looked over and saw the man who plans on cutting our heads off.

"Hello, sir. May I please-" I began until he cut me off.

"A beauty such as you shouldn't be here in shackles, eh? No, no, no, you shouldn't! I will ask the guard to being you to my quarters. You'll be my favorite little plaything." He smiled, rubbing his knuckles across my cheek.

I bit at his hand and growled. "Don't fucking touch me."

Aziraphale gasped at my language as I glared daggers at him. "Don't start, Zira."

The Frenchman chuckled at me and his guard came in. He unchained me and then forced me out of the cell.

"Better think of something good, angel. This is the end of the line." I stated lowly. I walked with the guard until he pushed me into a room and locked the door.

I paced around a bit. How am I going to get out of this? I sighed and sat on the ground in front of the door, tears going down my cheeks. I wish someone would come up here and save me... I wish I could still do miracles.

I sighed and stood up, opening my eyes only to scream in surprise before regaining my composure.

"Gave you a fright, hm?" Crowley snickered.

"Oh look what the cat dragged in." I rolled my eyes. "See you got Aziraphale out. You got interrupted before you could tell me why you were in there."

"I was peckish!" He huffed, a small pout on his lips as Crowley laughed.

"Dressed as that, I can see why they'd chop your head off." I smirked.

"What about you, (y/n)? Why were you there?" Crowley asked, an eyebrow raised.

I finally looked at him. Like really looked at him. Not just his eyes.

"What the hell is that hairstyle?" I busted out laughed.

"Just answer my damn question." He rolled his eyes.

"I said some colorful language to the king." I stated. "He bumped into me."

Crowley snickered a little. Again.

"Alright let's get out of here." He suggested, walking out the doors like it was nothing.

How did he-

Do demons have miracles?

I walked behind the angel and the demon, my mind wandering a bit...

Is Crowley really being a friend, or is he just using my heart for alternative motives?
