I must have fallen asleep at some point because the next thing I knew, my head was being moved on some super boney thighs.
"Holy hell, your thighs are boney." I muttered, opening one eye a little to peer up at Crowley.
The demon rolled his eyes before retorting, "They aren't that boney."
"Seriously? You're practically skin and bones. Do you have any fat on you?" I poke his tummy a bit and he takes my hand in his, giving me a glare to say stop that.
I grin cheekily and use my other hand. "Nope, no fat. You make a very uncomfortable pillow."
"I'm a demon. Of course I'm an uncomfortable pillow." He rolls his eyes. "Stop poking me, for fucks sake."
"Stop being an uncomfortable pillow for fucks sake." I mimicked him, smiling sweetly. In response, the asshole pushed me onto the floor, making me land with a thump.
I flipped off the rude ginger and got up, brushing myself off. I then noticed Aziraphale was sitting across from us and blushed in embarrassment.
"Sorry, Zira. I didn't see you there." I sit down next to him instead of Crowley, who feigned being hurt.
"Ouch. Don't sit by your boyfriend then. I see how it is." He leaned back against the seat of the couch and playfully pouted.
The bookshop was open so there were customers coming in and out. Honestly I dont see why Aziraphale won't change this to a library if he won't sell anything, but that's just my opinion. Crowley and I talked for a bit but I couldn't stop thinking about the red-haired angel and how similar the two are. They are the same person but theres still a big difference.
"Crowley...?" I hesitated when he looked up at me with his gorgeous yellow eyes. "Does it ever bother you that you cant remember much before the war?"
He tilted his head as he looked deep into my eyes. "No. I'd rather not remember being an angel. What brought this on, love?"
"Nothing at all." "____, please! Why won't you leave?"
I shake my head to rid myself of the memory but it clings for dear life.
"Because I love you! I cant let anything happen to you, (y/n). You're everything to me." The red-haired angel said as he held me in his arms.
"____, you found her then?" My head whips toward the doorway to see Lucifer.
"What? _____ what is he talking about?" I look at my angel who's glaring at Lucifer.
"(Y/n)? You've gone pale, are you okay?" Crowley asked as he looked at me.
"I'm fine, just... I'm fine." I stand up shakily and run my fingers through my hair. "Alcohol. Do we have some in the back?"
Crowley stands and places his hands on my shoulders. "You need to sit down. I'll get it." With that, he pressed down on my shoulders and I sat on the couch again. After he made sure I'd stay, he sauntered off to get some alcohol.
"I need you on my side." Lucifer directed to me.
"Me? You- you want me?"
"No, Lucifer. You're not having her and now you dont have me on your side either." ____ growled at him.
Lucifer's face twisted into a scowl. "Let the lady speak." He looked at me again with a face of such beauty and kindness. It's hard to believe that he is the cause of this turmoil. "Dont you ever have questions? Do you want more than just your one job up here?"
