I smiled as I walked over to Gabriel, my pearly white wings flitting behind me. "Gabriel! Look at this new animal I made! I call it a rabbit! Isnt it so cute? Look at it's floppy little ears and its soft little tail!" I hold up my most prized animal and Gabriel takes a long look, a small smile appearing on his face as he looks at the fluffy animal in my hands.

"It's very cute, (Y/N). You've gotten really good at creating animals." Gabriel smiled, petting the rabbit with an awestruck look on his face. "Are you taking it to Mother?"

"Yes, I'm hoping she accepts this one. I'd love to see it hopping around on Earth one day." I hold the rabbit close to my chest and tilt my head when I see a blond walking past me and Gabriel. "Who's that? Is he new?"

Gabriel turns to look and nods. "He's a new angel. His name is Aziraphale. He's a principality." He straightens and calls the blond over, making the poor angel walk over with a kind of shy expression. "Talk to you later, (Y/N)." Gabriel nods his head as he walks with the principality Aziraphale next to him and I head off to see Mother.

"Now wait a minute," Crowley interjects, "there's a lot I'll believe. But Gabriel being nice and sweet to something noncelestial?"

"Shut up, I'm telling the truth! Me and Gabriel were close back then. He was my best friend and he looked out for me like a big brother." I wrap my arms around myself, looking down at my lap. "Sometimes I miss those days."

"But-"

"Let her finish, Crowley. I want to hear more." Aziraphale interrupted Crowley, making him scowl and shut his mouth.

"Thank you." I smiled a little before taking a deep breath. "So, after I showed my rabbit to Mother..."

"You look very tired, my child." Mother said, concern lacing her voice. "Maybe take a rest."

"I can't Mother. I need to finish before the Earth is created! I-I have so many ideas and I'm sure you do too! I want to finish them for you, please Mother?" I chew on my lip, looking up at her with a pleading expression.

"Very well, my sweet animal maker. But please at least get your wings cleaned. It will relax you. I will get Michael to, if you would like." I felt Mother's soothing touch on my shoulder and nod instantly, closing my eyes. "Go, find Michael. She should be with Gabriel and Uriel."

I nod and bow my head slightly before walking off to find Michael.

"So Michael preened you? Were you close?" Crowley asked, a thoughtful look on his face.

"No. We knew each other by association through Gabriel but Mo- God insisted I get preened by Michael. Everyone always spoke about how Michael worked wonders. In fact, I remember seeing you go to her once." I smiled fondly as the memory popped into my head. "I wondered who the red haired angel was. It was rare to have a ginger." My eyes connected with his golden ones. "But I'm getting ahead of myself. After the preening..."

I head back to my little 'laboratory' and get to work on a new animal. After making the squirrel, pig, and what I called the majestic sea flap-flap but Mother called the stingray, I started getting to work on an animal called the platypus. Such a strange little duck beaver.
