Hey guys! So I'm not dead, although wow I haven't updated since NOVEMBER! I really need to get my schedule straight.

The only excuse I can make is college and even then it's not that good of an excuse 😂 I'm trying to get better though. I now have some more time on my hands since I dropped a class (oops) so I'll be back at this story!

Sorry if Crowley seems a little out of character. He also doesn't really contribute all that much in this chapter but he will in the next!

Enjoy!

It was useless, trying to sleep. Crowley makes it hard to sleep sometimes, and now is one of those times I guess.

He keeps poking me and shifting around as he talks with Aziraphale. When I look at him with my "what the fuck are you doing" look, he just gives me an innocent smile.

He pokes my thigh and so I slap his shoulder. "Let me sleep, asshole."

"But you're adorable when you're peeved off." He smirks, continuing to poke me.

"Zira, a little help please?" I sigh exasperatedly.

"No can do, (y/n)." Aziraphale shrugs.

I groan and get off of Crowley's lap, choosing to sit beside Aziraphale instead, but Crowley just followed.

"Are you trying to piss me off?" I growl, glaring a little.

"Maybe."

I shift into my fox form and growl in warning before walking to a bookshelf and finding a way to jump up on top of it. If he's going to be an asshole, I might as well just sleep up here, although it's much easier to sleep with him.

I curl up into a little ball and fall asleep, hoping I won't have any nightmares this time.

Crowley's POV cause why not :)

Aziraphale gives me a disapproving look, shaking his head.

"What, angel?"

"The poor dear was trying to sleep. You couldn't let just let her? She's obviously very exhausted," He says, still giving me that look.

"I have to be annoying sometimes," I shrug, "If it makes you feel better, I'll only annoy you from now on."

I look up at  (y/n) and smile a little, noticing how her nose twitches ever-so-slightly when she's sleeping. That goes for her normal form as well. I can't help but to wonder why she was really cast out so late. I know she says she questioned God, but I feel as though there's more to the story.

"Crowley!" I snap out of my thoughts and look to Aziraphale, "You weren't listening to me, were you?"

"Ehrm..." I scratch the back of my neck as I try to find a good answer, "No, not really. Does something about (y/n) strike you as odd?"

"She's an angel-demon hybrid. Of course she's odd."

"No, there's something more..."

"Like what?"

"I don't know. She says she was cast out of heaven for questioning God, but shouldn't there be more reasons? For most demons, we just hung around Lucifer and his gang. (Y/n) fell after the war and didn't even fully fall."
