CENTRAL CITY
EARTH-ONE

"Did you find them?" Joe asked as he jogged into the Cortex. The team surrounded him and nodded proudly.

For months...everyone on the team had been searching for any sign of their beloved speedsters, and now, nearly seven months later, they had finally found them. The countless nights spent in the lab and the early mornings had finally paid off.

Joe let out a sigh of relief, he couldn't believe that they had finally done it...they were going to bring Barry and Y/N home...

Joe and the team had never lost hope that they would find Barry and Y/N, and that Zoom would pay for what he had done to them. This plan was seven months in the making, it was finally time to take a stand against Zoom.

"They're on Earth-Two," Cisco informed Joe. "At the exact same lair Zoom had years ago."

Harry nodded, "We assumed Zoom had abandoned the place since he's been spending most of his time here in Central City."

"We've been looking on our Earth when we should have been looking to other Earths in the multiverse instead," Julian chimed in.

"How did you find him?" Joe asked out of curiosity.

"Cisco and I were finally able to find Zoom's tachyon signature and track him that way, once we realized he was leaving Earth-One, we started looking on Earth-Two...that's when we found Barry and Y/N's tachyon signatures," Harry explained.

Caitlin then stepped forward, "Julian and I have the med bay ready for when we bring them back here. We can assume that they'll probably be dehydrated, but who knows what else Zoom has been doing to them," she explained.

Joe nodded, "That sounds great guys, but how do we know that Barry and Y/N aren't-"

"Dead?" Harry interrupted. "Truth is, we don't know, their suits sensors have been disabled since they disappeared, and we haven't been able to establish any contact with them."

Cisco them stepped forward, "Even if they are no longer with us...they deserve to be laid to rest here, at home..."

Joe paused for a moment at the thought of Barry and Y/N, he didn't know what he would do if he found out that Zoom had killed them. He could hardly imagine a world without Barry and Y/N, the past months without them had been horrible for him. Joe was hoping for good news, as was the rest of the team...but who's to say they would get what they were hoping for...

"Let's bring them home..."

Within minutes, the team had assembled in the Cortex, everyone was anxious to bring Barry and Y/N home. They had been waiting for this moment for months, it was time to bring their heroes home...

Cisco had suited up with his breacher gloves while Joe called Captain Singh to tag along with the team for back up. They were unsure of what to expect, so they had to be prepared for anything. Caitlin, Harry, and Julian all agreed to hang back at S.T.A.R. Labs while the others went to Earth-Two.

Singh entered the Cortex and readied himself alongside Joe as they both loaded their guns. "Are we really doing this?" Singh asked.

Joe nodded, "It's about time we bring them home," he replied.

In Y/N and Barry's absence, Captain Singh had been heavily involved with Team Flash and their search for the two missing speedsters. He had also managed to help protect their identities in their absence.

Across the city, people had painted Flash emblems on walls, articles and reports about The Flashes had flooded the media, and Singh had been overwhelmed with questions about when the heroes would return. He only wished he had an answer to that question.

"There is one thing you all need to remember," Harry spoke up, pulling everyone from their thoughts, "The Barry and Y/N we bring home today may not be the ones we lost seven months ago," he warned.

Cisco nodded, "Who knows what Zoom could have done to them," he added.

"Let's just bring them home first, then we can worry about everything else," Joe mentioned.

Cisco nodded in agreement as he opened a breach to Earth-Two.

Joe, Singh, and Cisco walked through the breach and onto Earth-Two. The trio looked around for a moment, Singh was in awe, he had never been to another Earth before. The group quickly collected themselves before the breach closed behind them.

"Okay," Cisco started. "According to the information, Harry and I gathered, Zoom is currently on Earth-One and he won't return for at least an hour."

"How can we be sure?" Singh asked.

"Harry and I have been monitoring him for the past few days to confirm that Barry and Y/N were here. He does this every week like clockwork, we aren't sure why," Cisco replied. "We know that we need to get in and out fast."

Singh nodded as he, Cisco, and Joe all broke into Zoom's base of operations. A serious case of deja vu struck Cisco as he entered the base. He had been here years ago to rescue Barry, only last time, it didn't take him seven months to find his best friend...

Joe and Singh both had their guns raised as Cisco led them throughout the facility.

On the other side of the base, Y/N was sitting with her back resting against the wall next to Barry who was doing the same. Y/N had her head resting against Barry's shoulder as they both tried to get some rest.

Y/N and Barry's most recent encounters with Zoom had left them both beaten, bruised, and in need of a break. However, a loud sound caused Y/N to stir, but she simply brushed it off as Zoom returning once again.

But who Y/N saw next nearly made her jaw drop, Cisco smiled as he met Y/N's eyes from the other side of the cell.

Barry and Y/N looked up in disbelief, both of their hearts skipped a beat, they were being rescued, a notion they had dismissed of being possible months ago.

Joe and Singh couldn't believe the state of their heroes, they looked broken...It was clear they had been beaten and bruised beyond belief. They looked like they had been through hell...

"Cisco?" Y/N questioned in disbelief, she couldn't believe that this was real.

Y/N and Barry were standing by the cell wall in an instant as they smiled at the sight of their friends. Joe noticed how different Barry and Y/N seemed as they leaned against each other for support.

"Yeah," Cisco replied. "Figured it was about time we got you two out of here," he said as he pulled a device out of his pocket and attached it to the cell door.

It wasn't long before Cisco's device had effectively cut a hole large enough for both speedsters to fit through.

Joe rushed forward and hugged his son while Cisco hugged Y/N tightly.

"It's good to have you back," Cisco told Y/N.

Y/N smiled, this was a dream come true. Neither Barry nor Y/N ever thought this day would come, they had both lost hope of being freed so long ago. But now they were back in the arms of their friends as they finally left the cell that they had become accustomed to over the past seven months.

Y/N pulled back, "We should go, Zoom won't be gone for long," she warned.

Cisco nodded, "Yeah, once we get outside I'll open a breach back to the lab."

Joe hugged Y/N before he put his arm under Barry's shoulders and supported his weight as they all made their way out of the base.

Y/N suddenly felt dizzy as she was walking, luckily, Captain Singh noticed when she stumbled on her feet. He wrapped his arm under her shoulders and supported her as the group continued to head outside.

"Thank you," Y/N mentioned softly.

Singh shook his head, "Don't thank me, you're the one who saved the city," he told her.
