"Whoa..." Was all Sans could say as he stepped into waterfall. It looked a lot like his own version of waterfall, though the cave had more pruple hues than the blue ones back in his world. Here, monsters seemed less aggressive, maybe because of the atmosphere : it was still hostile, but less so. It was relaxing, as strange as it sounded. It was...quite beautiful in fact. Sans had a hard time focusing on the path, always looking up to the ceiling. If it weren't for Flowey, he would have fallen a dozen times right now. "Sans, would you stop being so careless, please?" "Heh, sorry Flowey. I guess the ceiling is like a planet : it always attracts me." "..." Flowey didn't respond, while Red was trying his best not to laugh too loud. Sans grinned brightly at that sight, but proceeded to torn his gaze away from Red's face, trying to hide the soft blush covering his cheekbones. It was happening more and more lately, and each time was when Red was nearby.
To be honest, he somewhat knew why he acted that way, but he denied it, because... because he didn't know if the other skeleton shared his feelings. Was it crazy to have this kind of feelings towards someone who could easily passed for his twin? Maybe, but he didn't care, and if you looked closely, Sans and Red were different : Red was taller, broader, stronger than him, better at keeping his emotions under control, had that desire to do good, was handsome and- Sans blushed furiously. 'I'm supposed to HIDE my feelings, not making it obvious!!' Sans took a moment to cool down, before turning to Red and Flowey, and it seems that both of them were having some sort of staring contest. "Well, what are we waiting for?" 'Phew, they didn't notice...'
Red and Flowey definitely his weird behaviour. They 'argued' only as an act, but in fact were both watching him intensly. "Yeah, stay behind me, Sweetheart." They didn't get to go too far, as Sans gasped loudly as he noticed that the 'stars' in this particular romm were brighter and much more numerous. Sans squealed at that sight, that was incredible! Even if there weren't as beautiful as the one on the surface, or even real, this sight was breathtaking. Red was looking helplessly at him. "Sweetheart? Come on, ya know we have a long road ta do, we should hurry." "I know, I know, just...can we stop here just a sec? I would like to...erm...look at the ceiling just a little bit more..." "*sigh* Alright, we should rest a little, ok?"
They settled in a little clearing, surronded by mushrooms giving off a small light to the place. Flowey was on a big mushroom, watching over for some eventual ennemies. Red and Sans were sitting next to each other, looking up at the stars, while Red tried not to stare too much at Sans' face. "Say Red?" "Hmm?" "Do you like the stars?" "...Well, when ya always see the same thing over and over, ya kinda lost interest in it, ya know?" "...And...What if you could watch the stars, I mean the real ones, on the surface, would you regain interest in it?" "...What are ya implying there, Sans?" "..." "Sans." Red gently took Sans' chin between his clawed hand, forcing the latter to met his gaze. "Sans... You don't plan on breaking the barrier, do you? You can't do that!" "Well, I can, since I took Frisk's place, my soul changed a little as well. It's now a monster's one, but also a human's one. So I can-" "Are you stupid or what?!" Red yelled loudly. Sans stilled, his eyelights shrinking from the the anxiety Sans was feeling right now. Red looked at him with anger, but also with pain. "Don't ya realize what it implies to do that? You would have to give up your soul. Ya won't survive this, even for a minute, because of your condition! You'll fucking die, Sans!!" Red huffed from the yelling, small tears barely visible at the corner of his eyes. "...I...I know what it implies... I know th-that I'll probably die, but..." Sans took a shaky breath, tears present as well, "But it doesn't mean that I have to leave you all here! " "It's not ya who can tell if we should reamin here or not!" "Why not? Because I'm not from here? I think it is because I'm not from here that I can say that! My kind reached the surface six years ago, and you should all remain here because of what you did in the past? That's not fair! I want you all to be free!" "And I don't want ya ta sacrifice yourself for us!!" "And why not?" "BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TA LOSE YA, DAMNIT!!"
A deafening silence settled around the two skeletons, who were looking with wide eyes at each other." Wh...What?" "..." "Red. What did you say? What did you mean?" Red was shaking, his emotions getting too strong for him. It was now or never. He gently took Sans' hands in his, slowly looking up to Sans. "I don't want ta lose ya. Since we talked at Grillby, and more recently, when ya told me that ya had forgive me a long time ago, I felt lighter than ever, and I thought it was because, for once in my life, someone cared about me, enough for seeing that I wasn't just a mass of LV, but a monster. But it wasn't totally that." Sans breathing got faster every minutes passing by, his tears slowly rolling down his cheekbones and a blue blush settling on his face. "I...I guess that...that what I'm trying ta say, is that..I..I l-l-" Red couldn't say it. Not here, not where monsters could listen to them. "Yes, Red?" Sans asked, hope shining in his eyes and soul, just waiting for the confirmation. Red suddenly stood up, having still a hold of Sans' hands, stomping towards Flowey. "R-Red?! Wh-" "Flowey, we're leaving. Right now." Flowey turned to them, quite surprised. "What is it? Why sh- HEY! What are you doing to Sans?! What th- HEY!! PUT ME DOWN!!" Red has grabbed him by his stem, not minding the protestations. "We're going back ta Snowdin." "What?" "WHAT?!" And before any words could be exchanged, the three vanished in a flash of red magic.
They were back to Red's living room, lights were off as Papyrus was at the King's castle, so he wouldn't be there before days. "Red, what are-" Sans was cut off as he felt Red kissing him. "!!" "WHAT!!" Flowey screeched, seemingly horrified by what was happening. Red let hthe flower go, as he slowly wrapped his arms around Sans body. Flowey was about to scream at him to let Sans go, when he realized that Sans' arms were holding onto Red's shoulders, his eyes closed. They separated a moment, looking into each other's eyes. "Sans... I love ya, Sweetheart." The nickname was no longer humiliating, Sans realzed it has been a while now. "Red... I...I love you too." Red's face brightened at that. "Really? Ya...Ya do?" Sans laughed softly. "i wouldn't have let you kiss me otherwise!" Red gently caressed Sans cheekbone, a loving smile on his face. "Then, ya won't mind me doing it again, will ya?" Sans wrapped his arms behind Red's neck, hearts in his eyes. "Of course not, Red..." And with that, they kissed again, this kiss getting longer. At some point, Red deepened the kiss, making Sans gasped softly, yet not showing any signs of discomfort.
"Guys, please, tell me it's a joke, right? Right?!" Flowey pleaded them, yet knowing already what the answer would be. He turned away as Red lifted Sans slowly in his arms, Sans wrapping his legs above Red's waist. They both were kissing passionately, and they were getting more heated. And in a swift movement, Red teleported them to his room. And the sound of a door being locked was heard. 'Oh boy, the night will be really long...'
And another chapter, one! I hope you enjoyed it! And you can guess that the next chapter will contain the references to some sexy things that happened between the two lovers! I hope I didn't rush things too much between them! Tell me what you thought about the chapter and if you think that I did rush things, then let me know! Well, that's all for today! Have a nice day or night!!!

FanfictionSans was quite happy with his life : he was living on the surface, he didn't go through genocide routes, had a caring brother, good friends, no resets. Yes, he would have never changed his life for anything in the world. Then how did this happen...
