When the barrier broke, Red dashed as fast as he could out of the cave. His only thoughts were for Sans to survive, to see Sans' smile just one more time. He ran, and ran, not minding the Sunset, nor the warm and light Wind blowing through the trees' leaves. Some stars timidly appeared in the sky, as flowers petals' curled on themselves. Sans' breath was so weak, almost inexistant... 'Hold on Sans...We're almost there...' He ran until he saw a village just at the moutain's base. Hope blossomed into Red's Soul. When he arrived near it, he ran faster than ever. "Almost...We're almost there..." But then, he heard people screaming, coming from the village entrance. Red was running too fast to allow him to stopin time, as he collided against something hard, making him cry out sharply in the process. He fell back on his back, Sans near him. Blearily, Red tried to sit up and see what stopped him. A barrier. A magic barrier. "Ya got ta be kidding me!!?? HEY!!! LET US IN!!! " "As if we would let you trick us! We know that you will bring us nothing but troubles!!!" A few voices answered him, sounding wary. "WHAT?? YA DON'T EVEN KNOW ME!!!!" "You're covered in blood! And in magic!! Those prooves are enough for us to know that you're anything but pacifist!!!" Red gritted his teeth as tears slowly built up at the corners of his eyesockets. "PLEASE!!! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!!!! IF YOU DON'T HELP US... If you don't help....He'll die...." No one answered him, and Red spent some minutes holding his tears back, waiting for the people there to erase the magic barrier, before he quickly stood up, shooting magic attacks against the barrier. "HE'LL DIE IF YOU DON'T HELP HIM!!!!! EITHER YOU DISSIPATE THAT BARRIER, EITHER I DESTROY IT BY FORCE!!!!" Though Red tried his hardest to sound as threatening as he could, he knew deep down that he would not last long like that. Though his brother did his best to heal him, it was far from enough, and soon, blood covered his vision once again. Then, after long painful minutes, the barrier dissipated, leaving Red strained and exhausted. He fell onto his knees, then on his left side. His vision was a blurred mix of blood and darkness, whith growing black spots. As unconscience claimed him, he saw faintly figures slowly approaching them, and he heard shouts coming from some. Then, nothing more.

"...Fer the life of..." Red rasped quietly, trying to open his eyes, but he didn't have the strength to do so. He felt so weak...and dizzy...and sick...and disoriented...and... Yes, Red usually liked a lot to complaign, and that moment was not an exception, but the only difference was that it was real this time. He tried to move his hand, but found yhat even that was too much for his body, and that just reminded him how sore and pained his body was. He let out a hiss, clenching his eyesockets. "You shouldn't move for now, try to rest however." "...Who?" He couldn't recognize the voice talking to me, though he knew that voice. His memories were jumbled, his mind drifting in and out...He really wasn't in a pretty bad predicament. "Do you remember me, Red?" He didn't recognize the tone, the feelings that the voice held. So he thought that maybe, it was the only person that his memories still dearly held onto. "...Sweetheart...?" He waited for the voice to confirm his guess, to reassure him. "...Sorry Red, but...I...Erm... I am not Sans." Oh. Not only was it awkward, but it also spurred his worries anew. "It's okay, don't worry. I was told that your wounds were quite extensive. Just rest okay? I'll be back later okay. Idon't know when, I suppose I'll be dropping by when someone would come to see you." Red wanted to ask about Sans' state, but he was already going back to sleep. 'Why ... Please...tell me that Sans is okay...'
