Hazel's POV
"Here" she plants the plate of overflowing delicacies on the opposite nightstand, I smile appreciatively. "You probably didn't have much to eat, so feel free to dig in Haz!" I had no idea we were on nickname basis yet but I surprisingly didn't hate it. "Yeah, no problem." She took off her head scarf which surprises me, I thought Muslim women weren't allowed to show a single strand of their hair to anyone.
She peers at my baffled expression, "I can take it off when no man is around, fun fact most of my close male relatives can see my hair." She informs brushing out the tangles from her brown locks while simultaneously eating with her right hand.
"Oh really I had no idea." I voice noting down the information for future reference.
"Some people ask if I shower with it on, like seriously do I go around asking if they shower with their clothe on" She chuckles loudly finding the topic amusing.
"Tomorrow's gonna be a long day you should get some sleep if you wanna make it back alive."
"Umm..Do you know who the Morris's are?" I question hoping I wasn't coming off nosy. My mind was often wandering towards them ever since. Can you blame me, I was quite intimidated by Aunt Cynthia and Sammy's little discussion.
She stares at the ceiling sighing with a troubled expression, "The Morrises, There one of the most renowned family that were around for generations, coming up with 48.3 percent of the worlds luxury products and owning dozens of manufacturing companies it's safe to say there worth more than the royal family, they even have martial ties with them, ranking right above the royal family financially. Basically just a tomb of power drunk imbeciles who consider everyone a pawn in there game of affluence, if I were you I would steer clear of them."
There were out there really walking the talk, compared to them even Aunt Cynthia didn't stand a chance.
"What does that have to do with the school though?" I say, considering there bloated wealth it was possible they were paying off Mr.Winsfred.
He didn't strike me as the honest type.
"The Morrises have been going to Milestone Academy since forever. Mr.Winsfred is just acting as the headmaster, but the one who truly owns the school is President of the student council Nathan Morris and it's members. Rumours say every Morris goes through training in this school to later take over one faction, this is the very place they learn to rule over there peers before heading out to the real world." She replies,
That sounded harsh, this wasn't some type of game, well to them it was.
"What about Nathan?" I ask curiosity taking over,
She seems to reduce in size after hearing his name, "He's a cold heartless monster, Oh Hazel don't be fooled by his beautiful face like all the other girls." She chuckles bringing back the light atmosphere. He was also attractive, I was giving up on this world. She walks over plopping herself on the bed,
"He's made of stone, I can't say I had a conversation with him directly, but he was there when I was discussing the newspaper club budget with Danielle Hills, she's the Discipline and law management, well it's not like she's any better that emotionless girl. She mostly deals with Disciplinary issues but she sometimes administers clubs."
"Then there's the Vice President Megan West, the Sports rep Lucas Young, the Treasurer SungJae and the fundraising and budget management Misty Mcleene. Making up the six members." She says in one breath.
"So that's them," I poise intrigued, "Are they as mean as him?"
"More so they see us as lower beings." She clarifies "Anyways there just people we cant afford to mess with."
