Hazel's POV
I walk to the front of the class turning in my Chemistry paper to the test admin, the last of my exams and I wasn't feeling particularly confident about my performance, not in just Chemistry but all the papers I had taken. My temples pulsing I decide to go straight to the house, the students littering the hall gushing about how simple the exams had been further adding to my anxiety.
I was lucky we didn't have classes to attend afterwards because I don't think I could've handled that as of right now.
A little tear slips pass my eye lids, if only I wasn't this stupid Aunt Cynthia's hard earned cash wouldn't be wasted on a failure like me. I heard Nathan was overworking the staff purposely to get the results posted by early Monday, In just a narrow three days I would finally know.
I was surprised to learn Noah was intelligent by nature, and Layla being the responsible girl was working her ass off. They would easily score passing marks, I on the other hand wasn't so sure.
Ugh this was absolutely mind wreaking.
"Hey slave girl," a sinister voice reaches my ear, "Why do you look depressed?"
I get up from my bed stripping my uniform, "What do you want Misty." I ask my head swirling. I may have been snacking on one too many ice lollies these past few days. It was only expected I would have a mild fever by now.
"That's no way to treat your master." She comments seating herself on my bed, I guess no one was gonna ask for my permission before they evaded my personal space. "Why do you look so pale, it's almost as if your gonna die or something."
As I dunk the oversized hoodie on a sharp pain striking my body paralyzed, I tumble to the ground feeling oddly warm.
"Stop doing that!" Misty proposes pulling my arm, What great advice! Let me just magically stop being sick.
"Hey! Somebody help the slave girl is dying!" Misty screams at the top of her lungs. However an exaggeration I was glad, for I really didn't possess the bravery to be in Mistys care any longer.
A figure looms over me scooping me up in a bridal position, his cold hard abdomen providing much needed comfort. "Call the cops!" an uneasy voice suggests from the rear corner, I didn't think law enforcement would be the appropriate solution in this case, I just needed flu medicine and some rest.
My brain muddled together and I couldn't keep conscious any longer, My eyelids glued as I fall into an endless pit of slumber.

Nathan's POV
Nathan was as calm as he could be at the moment, he kept his face in a trepmt like he always had, he was good at The exam preparation was going on a smooth trail, despite the fact I had to check on the incompetent staff every few days, if everything went to plan the students average score would be exponentially higher than the year before.
I had to live up to my esteemed family name, the public eyes were on me more than ever before, ever since I made that supposed bold statement that I would rank national. The national board was made up of mostly competent universities across the nation front. It wasn't impossible for an high school to also rank but it was going to be tough.
Even for me.
I was adamant on surpassing Greyson, my idolized older brother, and succeeding the family business. He was clearly not fit for the position, being riddled with women and booze. My father was for the most part a fair man, so I just needed to overcome his clear bias with my blinding achievements. And ranking the national board would do just that, I had no personal gain from this but watching him stripped from his position was more than enough.
