Hazel's POV

Like a mouse caught in trap I sat down quietly peering at the snow haired beauty in front of me, her face twisted into a sinister smile.

"I'm Danielle Hill, I manage all the disciplinary issues of the school." She recites,

"I'm gonna be asking you some questions, I hope you will answer truthfully." She alludes a threat veiled behind her pristine words. "What were you doing this morning at around four?"

She probably just had circumstantial evidence to tie me to the crime and was trying to get a confession out of me.

"I was asleep." I gracefully lie, a skill I had long polished when I came to the realisation my mother only accepted what she wanted to hear, I wasn't going to break anytime soon.

"Did you or did you not know that the student council property is unauthorised to the public?" She questions her unmoving glass face staring into my soul, I couldn't answer no, no matter how plaided my deception skills were, if relied on wholly my narrative was surely set to crumble.

"Yes, but I was accompanied by Misty just now." I say convincingly trying to throw her off. Misty walks away from the wall coming towards the table as she picks up a lolipop from the bowl, "Want one?" She questions slyly.

I shake my head, "Can I go now I didn't have my breakfast yet."

A tall lean boy comes behind her snatching the lollipop from her dainty hand, "Hey, give it back Sung Jae!" She cries out before she can say anything he plops the candy in his mouth. He smiles his strong angular features softening, his glassy pimple-less skin, beautiful mono-lidded eyes and long feathery eyelashes discerning his Asian decent.

"Who's this?" He says coming right in front of my face, I look to the side feeling uncomfortable at the lack of distance between us.

I look at Danielle pleadingly, my doe eyes fixated on her, "Like I said Misty escorted me to the Student Council just now, and I was asleep this morning, I don't know what's going on but can I please go?" My voice trembles newly formed tears brimming in my eyes.

She stands up grabbing a remote, "I'll give you one last chance, My judgement will now be solely based on your decision now." I furrow my eyebrows confused, did she really think I would fall for her measly bluff? "Again I have no idea what your talking about, I told you all I know." I whisper wiping my teary eyes.

A satisfied expression presents itself behind her mane eyes as she presses on the lenin remote. "Is this not you?" Danielle questions a hint of humor behind her usual professional tone.

My mouth agap I sit there beyond shocked staring at my face clearly plastered on the screen in disbelief. It hadn't even crossed my mind that they would have cameras. My cover completely blown I had no choice but to shamefully look away.

"That was a twist I wasn't expecting," Sung Jae jests his laugh resonating throughout the room.

"I knew she was guilty, yet I still was convinced by her act." Misty enthusiastically agrees.

I twirl my skirt avoiding eye contact, how could my talent be used against me? "Pardon me, I was in the office," a tanned dirty blond haired boy joins the small crowd surrounding me, I needed to know for my sanity, was there a rule out there that only allowed attractive people to enter the council?

The pure envy swirling inside me almost making me forget my forsaken future.

He places his bag on the table flexing his muscular olive skinned arm. "What do we have here?" He poses, "We were enjoying a show, unfortunately you missed the good part." Sung Jae explains a faux frown in place as he slings his trimmed arm around Lucas.
