It's Your Quirk. (Shoto todoroki x Reader)

Chapter 9 - Scars.

Izuku never came home last night. So I had to go to school by myself. On the way I noticed that Todoroki was walking ahead of me. I caught up with him and we started chatting.

"Hey Todoroki. I just wanted to tell you that what you did during the hero vs villain test was really cool. (Yes pun intended)

"Thanks. You were really amazing also. The villains didn't even notice you were there." He muttered in a monotone voice. "How did you get that scar?" He questioned.

I smiled "I will tell you how I got mine if you tell me how you got yours."

I saw a spark of sadness wash over him but just as quickly as it came it faded.  I quickly said. "Sorry you don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I don't want to bring up bad memories."

"No I will tell you. It is only fair. My father was abusive and my mom snapped because she hated seeing my left side which is fire because it reminded her of my father. So she poured boiling water over my eye."

"Oh no I'm sorry you had to go through that."

"There is no reason to be sorry. It wasn't your fault." He reassured me.

I decided to tell him the truth but not state any names.

"Ok so my story is actually simple. I got into a fight with someone with a fire quirk and they burned me."

"Was it Bakugo?" He questioned.

My eyes widened. This caught me by surprised. Composing myself I asked after clearing my throat. "What makes you think that?"

"Well you always seem to be cautious around him and I also get the felling that you hate him. Plus I noticed that he can never look you in the eyes. I just thought you hated him because he would bully your brother. But now it makes a lot more sense. What I don't understand is why didn't you tell on him?"

I sighed "I had a strong feeling that if I told the police. He would not be able to become a hero. That would break him. In that case he would have most likely became a villain. Which is not good for anyone."

"I guess that does make sense."

We arrived at school. Taking my normal seat. I hear Kirishima shout "Hey it's Midoriya." I got out of my seat to run over to him. Hugging him but making sure to not hurt him.

"How are you doing brother?"

"I'm okay just tired."

"That's good." I walked back to my seat while everyone introduced themselves to him.

"Hey um where is Kacchan."

Now that he mentioned it. It has been a lot quieter then usual.

"We tried to stop him from leaving. But he just left." Uraraka answered. I didn't even notice. Izuku ran out of class. I assume to go look for Bakugo.

(A/N but Bakugo was Bakugone. Lol)

I just sat there I didn't think that Izuku would want me to follow him so I didn't.
