It's Your Quirk. (Shoto todoroki x Reader)

Chapter 18 - Battle on!

"Wait they tricked us. I should have never trusted that perverted grape." I screamed.

All the girl were in cheer uniforms. I hate how showy they are. I looked around to see Todoroki looking at me. As soon as our eyes meet he looked away. Why is his face turning red?

Midnight started to explain the battle.

"I'll start with the first place team."

"Um excuse me. Sorry but I'm withdrawing." Ojiro said raising his hand.

"Ojiro no way." Izuku gasped.

"But this is a rare chance for you to get scouted." Iida said.

"It just wouldn't be right. I barely remember anything from the cavalry battle until the very end of it. I think that it was that guys quirk."

Wait but wasn't he with the guy with the purple hair who asked me if I wanted to join his team?

I looked around. My eyes and his meet. He smirked. It was him. So my gut was right.

"I know that this is a great opportunity. I wish that I could take advantage of it but my conscience won't let me. I was just someones puppet so I don't want to advance if I don't even know how I got here." Ojiro finished

Midnight withdraw him and another boy from the battle.

Looking at the screen. I noticed that Izuku was against the purple haired guy named Shinso. While I was against Aoyama

"That is you right? Izuku Midoriya?" Shinso said from behind us.

I got that same gut feeling that we shouldn't take to him. I covered Izuku's mouth. "Don't answer him."

"A pleasure. So are you excited?" He asked again. I glared at him. He smirked and walked away. I removed my hand from Izuku's mouth.

"Damn that was close." I sighed.

"What was that about?" He asked.

"If my theory is correct then I think that he can control you if you answer his question. So during your battle whatever you do don't answer him. Just avoid talking to him altogether." I informed him.

The battle started. Izuku vs. Shinso.

I really hope that he listens to me and doesn't talk to him.

Even though I couldn't hear what they were saying I knew Shinso was talking.

Izuku looked mad then ran at Shinso yelling something. He suddenly froze.

"Izuku you idiot. I told you not to talk to him." I screamed many of my classmates and others were staring at me now.

"Damn I told him not to say anything." Ojiro said.

Shinso talked. Izuku turned around and started to walk out of the battle field.

"Izuku STOP." I screamed louder.

He was almost to the edge of the field. I noticed that his fingers were glowing. He is going to use his quirk to get out of the hold.

A large gust of wind was created after he used the quirk while broke the hold.

Izuku ran to Shinso and started to push him out of bounds. Shinso punched him in the face. Izuku kept pushing him. Shinso hit Izuku's broken fingers then turned him around and started to push him. Izuku grabbed Shinso's arm and threw him over his shoulder causing Shinso to be out of bounds.

Next battle was Todoroki vs Sero.

Sero captured Todoroki in tape and started swinging him out of the ring. Todoroki used his ice quirk and boy did he go overboard. Half of the stadium was covered in ice. Todoroki won. I stood up and started to melt the ice.

How the hell is he so powerful?

My battle was next. Izuku could sense my nervousness.

"Hey sis you will be alright. I believe in you." Izuku said smiling.

"Thanks brother."

"Begin"

I used my telekinesis on myself avoiding Aoyama lasers. He complained that his stomach started to hurt. I threw a fire ball at his laser causing it to melt.
I then punched him causing him to faint.

"Whoops I didn't mean to hurt him that bad." I muttered.

"Aoyama fainted. (Y/N) advances." Midnight said.

The last battle was Bakugo vs Uraraka. After a long and hard battle. Bakugo won.

The first battle of the second round was Izuku and Todoroki. Izuku countered todoroki's ice by using one for all on his fingers.

I noticed Todoroki's face and arms had bits of ice on them. Since he is not balancing his quirks he must be getting frostbite. He really is refusing to use his left side.

They kept fighting. Todoroki ran at Izuku. Izuku punched him using his quirk.

Izuku screamed something I couldn't hear.

Todoroki looked shocked. Then his while left side caught on fire.

He using his power. I'm so happy Izuku made him realise that it's his power.

"Yes, Shoto! Have you finally accepted your purpose. That's it. Very good. This is the dawn of a new era for us." Endeavor yelled walking down stairs.

Should I do it? Yeah I going to.

I used my telekinesis on him to make it look like he fell. Many people in the crowd laughed.

Once he recovered he screamed "Who was that. Who tripped me."

Iida looked at me "Was that your doing?"

"I have no clue what you are talking about." I shrugged while hiding a smirk.

Izuku and Todoroki went to go attack each other again but Midnight and Cementoss stopped the blast.

Izuku was out of bounds and knocked out. Todoroki won.

Izuku was in really bad shape.
