I feel like I'm missing something here. For the second time, shooting schedules have been changed and moved around. Instead of having the entire day filming with Julia, Shane and I filmed the scene where Hardin trashes Ken's house the entire night. Yesterday, I spent the entire day filming alone.

I'm dead tired and ready to hit the sack seeing that it's already eleven in the evening and I've been up since six in the fucking morning. I haven't slept well since that incident with Jo at the pool the other night. Ellen, our makeup artist, has been complaining about the very visible dark circles around my eyes for the past two days.

Right as I am about to hit the pillow, my phone rings. I have all the plan to ignore the call but the constant vibration is getting into my nerves. I grab my phone and see that it's Jennifer.

"Hello," I answer tentatively. What could she want from me at this time of night?

"Hi Hero, I know it's late but can you meet us at Anna's room?" She says from the other line.

"Right now?" I ask curiously.

"Yeah, we just need to have a word with you about some changes in the film."

"Okay, be there in five," I say before hanging up.

In less than five minutes, I am already knocking on Anna's hotel suite door. She opens the door for me and I become more confused than curious when I find Julia and Jo inside the suite, as well as Jenny.

Okay, what the fuck is going on here?

"Hero, please take a seat. We just have some things to discuss before we start filming tomorrow," Anna tells me as she makes her way to the couch and sits between Jenny and Jennifer.

I sit beside Jo without thinking twice and I notice Julia fidgeting in her seat. Jo also tenses as my side touches hers-the couch we are seated on isn't really big enough for the two of us. I train my eyes around everyone in the room and note that they all look tense, I could even taste the tension in the air around us.

"Anna, you're scaring the shit out of me. What's all this about?" I ask with a tensed chuckle.

She clears her throat. "Here it goes... In the past two weeks since you and Julia started rehearsals, we've been hit with the biggest problem yet in making this film. You might have noticed the lack of chemistry between you two. We tried everything to make it work but there really is no remedy to this. We already talked to Julia about this decision which, to be completely honest, has been very difficult for us."

"What decision?" I ask.

"She will no longer play the role of Tessa Young, Hero," Jennifer tells me.

What?

"Hold up, what? What's going to happen then?" I ask, feeling the start of a panic attack creeping in. My first lead role in a movie and this shit happens. Shit! I look at Julia and notice her eyes glazing over. Fuck, she's on the verge of crying. I can't imagine how she's feeling right now. It must hurt like hell to be axed from the movie you were supposed to be the lead star to. On the other hand, I understand Anna and the rest of the producers' decision. What I don't understand, though, is how come it is Julia who has to go and not me? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy I get to stay and play Hardin.

"Jo will now be playing Tessa and Julia will no longer be part of the movie. We already called someone else for the role of Molly," Jenny informs me. My mind may have been blown by this news because I can't seem to process anything else, can't seem to say a single fucking word. I turn to look at Jo and she has her eyes cast down to her lap where her hands rest, fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.
