" Well, uh... "
Psyche squirmed and grunted as she attempted her best to grope for appropriate words to say.
Well, uh... Really?! Is that supposed to be the best that she can give now?! Really, Psyche?! Really?!
Richard Armani's brows met in the middle suddenly looking so concerned about her.
" Psyche, is everything OK? What's wrong? "
She choked back her own breathing it literally inflamed her own throat when she did that.
The hell's wrong with her? That's his question, correct? Surprisingly, that was something that she wanted to ask herself too. What is happening to her? Is she OK? Why is she acting like a schoolgirl with multiple screaming habdabs when the boy from the other section greeted her hello?
Psyche tensed under the man's watchful eye. She turned around and pretended that she began examining the truck.
" I am OK! This truck is you know... old. "
She was stating the obvious, she even tapped the vehicle. Her mind wasn't functioning properly and she needed to say something. Anything at all. She closed her eyes and muttered a profanity against herself.
Damn it! So, what if the truck is old? He apparently knows that, hello?!
Just imagine this. For a week and three days, she had been conspiring with her mind and heart as to how she'll manage not to see this guy at all. She had been trying really hard. Had been attempting to formulate schemes on how to be able to still connect to Benedict without involving his father. And within that span of restless time, her own sanity was convinced that not associating herself with Richard Armani was better for the good of everyone. With this in mind, she's satisfied with the conclusion of distancing herself from him. For good and that's just about it.
