"Don't tell me you forgot?"

"Forgot what?"

The dark figure started laughing maliciously.

"Naive as always"

"W-What do you mean? 'As always'? Who even are you?!"

"Aw little girl can't even remember her older brother? Im hurt!"

He broke out into another series of psychotic laughs.

In the dark abyss a dim orange light sparked to life. The light was gradually becoming redder and redder, some of it detaching from the original source only to be quickly extinguished like flickering lights. Steadily, the surroundings, what appeared to be a room, brightened. A silhouette of the dark figure from earlier could now be easily seen. The intimidating form moved like a shadow in the room, occasionally laughing.

"Be sure, little sister, I'll miss you."

Suddenly, the light dropped. The fire never ceased, however. As if the flame's fall was in slow motion, Y/N could clearly recall exactly what would happen next.

As per usual, the small blaze continued to radiate pretty light and menacing heat even though it was small- about the size of an apple, though it was made of pure flame.

Heartbeats later the luminous source collided with the wooden floor.

It does not take a genius to know what happened later.

The fire spread, devouring the wood bit by bit, thus providing sufficient light to be able to see the bloody walls. Splatters, dried droplets and even neat lines of crimson were painted upon the gory surfaces of the walls. 'Painted', in this instance, meant stained.

The burning wood produced smoke: it was as dense as the fog in the blood mist jutsu. A scent of burning wood filled the room before the smoke engulfed it all. In that small window of time, the girl could look around. What she saw traumatized her to her very core. Yet, there were some positive attributes to the burning room; a hand painted picture of a clan's crest hung above the raging flames on the far side of the room, exclusive furniture pleasingly decorated the room, family photos swayed with their frames which were carefully situated around the room on the wooden, decorated walls.

Still, everything was going to burn.

The girl alongside it.

As any other fragile creature in such a dire situation would do, she panicked. Thus causing shallow, rapid breathing and overwhelming fear.

The smoke mixed with the air the girl was breathing and circulated in it. Eventually, the taste of burning wood clogged her weak child lungs and she could no longer breathe without feeling the dreadful soreness, aching and agony in them.

As the oxygen was harshly taken from the air, the poor young girl's body failed to work properly. Black patches, as well as small spots, invaded her sight. Her nose was congested with smoke- it was of no use now. Not before long, the child felt the burning sensation of pain. Her limbs lost their sense to feel, even her legs shook uncontrollably until she could stand no more.

The petite creature fell. Her body overheated as her senses were stripped away one by one. A truly gruesome death.

Lastly, when all else failed, the girl could still hear the cackling fire, the breaking wood and some odd faint noises.

It wasn't long before the true extent of damage sustained from being in this atmosphere took it's toll on the young one. She felt it, surely. Embers of pure pain licked at her frail, defenceless form.
