Y/N and Kakashi returned to Minato and Rin whom just so happened to have finished their training too. Rin seemed tired, but not exactly exhausted. Meanwhile Minato looked as fresh as ever - well at least we know how Rin's training went.

Minato noticed the two teens as they emerged from the forest and gave them a casual greeting. Rin looked as if she had seen a ghost and her expression changed to one of worry straight after.

The chocolate-haired girl ran straight at Y/N and began examining her. The former was confused as to why Rin was acting so overprotective. She was sure she didn't obtain any severe injuries, mere scratches and small cuts was all.

"Y/N, what in Hashirama's name have you done to your leg?"

"My leg?"
Oh. My leg. Wait. Didn't I heal it a while back?

"Yes. It's ... well, awful."

"Huh?"

"The wound seems deep and it may get infected. Sit there and I'll treat it."

"Uh, okay. Thanks."

Kakashi just stood by idly. He didn't mean to actually hurt Y/N to that extent, he was just too caught up in the adrenaline and fighting.
Guess I overdid it, huh?

Kakashi didn't like this feeling. It was created by the knowledge of how he hurt Y/N, at least he thought so. It felt strange yet somewhat familiar. A sensation of wanting to take back what he had done... perhaps it was guilt? Remorse? Regret?

The masked teen hated this feeling. And to get rid of it, he simply pretended it wasn't there. Gone. And forgotten.

Meanwhile Y/N started a conversation with her medic teammate as she was treating her wound.

"Hey, Rin?"

"Yes?"

"How bad is my injury?"

"Well, it's not exactly tragic but it certainly needs some treatment. How did it happen anyway?"

"Uh...well..."
Y/N didn't really want to tell her that it was Kakashi's doing. In the end, she didn't want Rin to think badly of him- he was really amazing, even if he got a little too excited.
"I guess I just wasn't careful and made a miscalculation when I was jumping from trees....I might, or might not, have slipped and scratched it on a few sharp branches...quite strange, isn't it? Me losing my balance, huh."

For a few seconds Rin looked at the other female suspiciously but eventually she decided to believe her.

"Be careful next time okay?"

"Right." Y/N half-laughed and gave Rin an apologetic closed-eye smile.

After another fifteen minutes or so Obito returned to meet with the rest of his comrades.

Honestly, he got bored training all by himself - Rin trained with Minato-Sensei and Y/N with Kakashi. But he was alone, and he didn't like it. So the young shinobi decided to see what the rest of his teammates were up to. And to his surprise, Kakashi was sparring with Minato while Rin was... treating Y/N? At least that's what it looked like from afar.

Shortly after, the two girls noticed him approaching and waved. They both looked so pretty as bright golden rays of sunlight shone upon their petite forms, their eyes sparkled, though it seemed Y/N's were even more dazzling than Rin's (the girl he s̶u̶p̶p̶o̶s̶e̶d̶l̶y̶  loved) - however strange that may seem.

"Hey, how come you're done with your training?"

Rin told her side of the story:
"Minato-Sensei decided for us to take a break."
