Theory 13

Sam was attending Stanford to become a lawyer, Dean never came to get Sam to find John because John had died when Dean was 14 and Sam was 10. Mary was working two jobs to support her and the boys. Dean got a job at a local car garage to help earn some money around the house.

Sam did well in school, resulting in him gaining multiple scholarships from many IVY league schools. Sam then chose Stanford, he knew he wanted to study law, he wanted to help those who were wronged by someone or by the law.

Dean dropped out of school at age 17, he thought he didn't deserve to go to an ivy league school or even community college. Dean always struggled in school, he was always failing his classes, struggling to keep up with his teachers and classmates. Dean eventually would sleep through his classes.

It was now the holidays (Thanksgiving), Dean was driving to his parent's place, where he saw his brother with his girlfriend. Dean got out of his beloved Impala, then his mom slapped him across the face.

Dean was in shock, he stared at his mom with disbelief.

The school had called John and Mary saying that Dean was falling asleep in class, him failing and then him dropping out.

John was beyond furious, he told Dean to pack his things and leave the house as soon as possible. Dean had packed his things, he then got in his car and drove away from his family.

Dean drives down the road, not looking back. He decided he didn't need his family so he throws his cell phone out the car window and watches it smash into tiny bits, he then drives down the highway leaving Lawrence, Kansas behind him.
