Theory 24:

*THIS IS ANOTHER ALTERNATE UNIVERSE STORY*

John was a police officer, he worked hard to get where he was in his career. Mary was a nurse but became a stay at home mom but would help out at the hospital if they needed her for help.

When John and Mary had Dean and Sam, their lives changed forever. Dean would always play policeman and Sam would play doctor. Mary knew that Dean and Sam were destined for something. John wanted them to follow his footsteps. He wanted to become police chief, then have his sons work with him as officers. 

Mary knew that Dean and Sam were going to grow up and were going to follow their own life choices.

When Dean turned 16, John gave him his beloved 1967 Chevrolet Impala. Dean admired that car, John taught him to fix the engine, how to properly clean the car and everything to make her look brand new, despite the year she came out.

Dean wanted to be a mechanic, he loved fixing cars, he said building their engines was like a jigsaw puzzle that was fun to build and to put together.

Sam realized that he wanted to go into the law. He wanted to become a lawyer. Sam saw how many people were being mistreated by the judicial system, how rich people just bought their justice so that they couldn't have any dirt on themselves or their reputations.

When Dean was in school, he took mechanics every year since ninth grade up to twelfth grade. He always made sure to take that class, John on the other hand he wanted Dean to be in physical education classes, boxing classes, stuff to protect himself if he became a police officer.

Mary wanted Sam to follow in her footsteps, Sam would take debate class, english and a law class. Mary wanted him to take the sciences for medicine.

One night Mary and John were out having a date, Dean and Sam were talking with the textbooks from the classes they never wanted to take.

Dean: Sammy I don't wanna become a cop. I wanna be a mechanic. Build car engines, help build cars, fix them.

Sam: I don't want to be a doctor. I wanna be a lawyer. I wanna help those who never got justice or need justice because they didn't get it or receive it.

Dean: I know Sammy, I remember you talked about a case that really got to you.

Sam: Yeah, a girl was attacked by her ex boyfriend, he stalked her for months, broke into her place, stole her underwear and bras, he even put a camera in her shower to watch her shower and other stuff.

Dean: Wasn't he crazy?

Sam: At the trial, he was considered insane and was let off the hook. That girl ended up committing suicide because he began his issues again.

Dean: I remember that you went to the trial and you talked to the girl's family.

Sam: I told them that the justice system failed their daughter and that I want to help others who also had their justice taken away or never received it.

Dean: I know Sammy.

After John and Mary's date, they came home, Sam and Dean had left the house, they took the impala. They had packed up their clothes, their books, everything.

Dean and Sam wanted to follow their own dreams, not their parents' footsteps.

Mary found a note that Dean had written to her and John.

Mom, Dad Sammy and I are tired of you guys pushing us to be in careers we don't want. I want to be a mechanic, I want to build car engines, fix cars, even build them. Sammy wants to be a lawyer and he is very passionate about it. He wants to help those who never got justice or are waiting to receive justice that was taken away from them.

Don't look for us.

John then read the note, Mary and John realized that they pushed their sons away by scaring them to be in careers that they don't want to be in. John and Mary never realized that their sons wanted to do different things with their lives.

Mary: What have we done?

John: We lost our sons. We don't have any sons.

Mary tried to convince John that it wasn't a big issue but to John it felt like it was a disgrace, humiliating and a backstab.

It's now 2022, Dean is a famous mechanic. He has his own garage in town, he even has some garages over the states. Dean worked his butt off to get to where he is. He helps rebuild car engines, even rebuild cars that are in rough shape.

Sam became a popular lawyer, he helped people who never got justice, he even helped with teaching law at a highschool in town and even spoke at universities about his career and how he got to where he is. Sam even helped Dean with some law stuff when he was opening his business and Dean made sure that everything was in place.

Dean: We did it Sammy.

Sam: Yeah we did Dean. Also can you fix my charger?

Dean: Alright what's the issue?

Dean and Sam went to Sam's car, Sam told Dean what was wrong with his car, Dean then started working away while Sam did some paperwork in Dean's office.
