****LITTLE ANNOUNCEMENT****

First off, I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!! 😈😈😈 I missed you guys 😪😪😪. Secondly, I'm mostly back to health so typing isn't much of a bother. I realized I had you all waiting way too long for this update so it's a bit longer. Anyways 😁😁 that's all I wanted to tell you. Hope you enjoy.

"Zy quit acting crazy," I side-eyed him. The plane just landed and he was already on the bullshit. Some dude was looking at me now he's looking like he wants to fight. 

"About to be arrested if niggas keep looking at you like it's a problem," he muttered. 

"No you're not because I ain't posting your bail." He gave me the evil eye which I ultimately ignored. I was anxiously looking around the airport for Demetrius. We've talked frequently since we first agreed I would fly up to meet him. We got pretty acquainted and he sent me a picture of himself so I can find him. And chiiiiiiile my cousin is fine as fuck. If we weren't blood and me and Zy never got together I would've risked it all for him. 

"Don't make me fuck you up Mo," Zy mugged me. 

"Did I say that out loud?" I said innocently.

"Yes."

"Whoops," I shrugged. 

"Don't make me fuck you up," he glared at me. 

"Promise?" I smirked. He mirrored my smirk. 

"Mommy, daddy!" Cadie whined coming in between us. "Can we go?"

"Hold on babe I'm looking for-"

"Monique?" I turned to whoever said my name. I immediately recognized him as Demetrius. He smiled at me. "It is you. Good."

"Hey," I smiled. He wrapped his arms around me for a quick hug. "Thanks for coming to get us."

"Anytime. Although, you wouldn't have had to worry about the crazy airport scene had you let me send the family plane." Yeah he filled me in on everything his family is involved in. In vague details of course but I got the gist of it. 

"That would be too much trouble. It's fine. Demetrius, this is my boyfriend Zyshonne, you can call him Zy." 

"What's up bruh?" They did that dap/hug thing guys do. They too talked when me and Demetrius would be on the phone so they're familiar with each other. Zy actually likes him and vice versa. "So this is baby girl?" Demetrius kneeled down to Cadie and handed her a stuffed bear. She gasped and grabbed it. 

"Thanks Uncle uhm..." She scrunched her face up trying to figure out his name. 

He chuckled. "Call me Meechie baby girl. You ready to go? I got a nephew around your age and a baby niece."

"Yeah! Come on mommy and daddy or we leave you," she said grabbing Meechie's hand and leading him away making us laugh. Zy and I grabbed the bags while Cadie talked Meechie's head off. He was actually listening to her and talking back. Cadie didn't really say too much to him when we were on the phone so it was a bit of a surprise she took to him so quickly. 

"Are you sure it's okay we stay with you?" I asked. "I thought you just moved a few days ago?"

"Yeah but everything was taken care of. Besides, you're family. The whole point of this trip is to get to know each other and hang out." I smiled and nodded. It felt like he already accepted me as part of his family and it made me feel nice. The only other connection to my father was Isaiah and Taylor (sister who never made it to book 2 lol) and that was disastrous for a long time. Still disastrous considering I haven't heard anything from Taylor since the Jamel thing.
