Arnav reached his office and went straight to his office roaring the name of his most trusted PA.

'Good morning Saale, everything good at home?' Aman traded carefully knowing the temper of his young brother-in-law. He was just coming in so what could have rubbed him on the wrong side? Since everything was working perfectly at office like a well oiled machine, it had to be home problems, particularly his marriage issue with his dear sister, but oh boy, this morning he was wrong. Anyway, there was always a first time for everything.

'Perfectly fine,' he sneered. 'Except you forgot to tell me that you knocked my Di?'

'Language. For your information, I'm married to your Di and these things happen,' he matched his Saala's sneer, talk of spending time in bad company; you end up inheriting their bad habits. 'It's not like she is my girlfriend. You should be happy very soon you will have a nephew to play with and that way you will leave Anjie and me alone.'

'What the!! First of all it will be a girl, my princess and secondly why did I have to hear it from Di, you should have told me.'

'Maybe because she is your sister,' he shrugged his shoulders. Wasn't that the norm?

'But you're my friend.'

'More like frenemy. Forget all that. Anjie wanted to tell you by herself and I can guess you spoiled the surprise as always.' He shook his head and pulled a chair opposite his boss-friend-saala. The man will never change. He really needed a miracle, a wife as Anjali would say. There was no one who knew him better than him.

'It's not my fault when you people cannot just come up straight to the point. Chote, I'm pregnant. What's so difficult to say in that?'

'My dear Lord, help me. What kind of man is this? I pray to God that he gives you a more dramatic wife than mine. This way you will understand and it will also be penance for your attitude towards love. Love is such a good feeling.'

'Stop, stop. Now you can tell me, what's this lunch at my house?'

'Didn't your Di tell you?'

'Aman?'

'ASR, your sister knows I can't keep any secret from you. I guess we will get to know the reason together. Now look at this Oberoi account and tell me if there is anything that needs to change.'

Arnav snatched the file from him, perused a few pages as he processed his thoughts, maybe it's only to introduce the so called nurse maid and nothing more.

'What kind of a husband are you? One who doesn't know what his wife is planning behind his back?' he asked instead.

'My friend, women are so cunning, they are the most vicious creatures on earth. They are kind of a drug though. You know it's not good for your health but you can't live without it, in fact you crave for it.'

'Living with Di has started to rub on you dramabaas. Go back to work and don't forget, lunch and your dear biwi will be waiting for us at home.'

'How can I forget?'

Arnav threw himself in his work. He so wanted to know the creature that had snared his sister in allowing her to come into their home without even a background check. If Aman said he knew nothing, then, he definitely didn't know even a whiff of it otherwise he would have moved heaven and earth to find out what his Anjie was up to.

All that was left to do was waiting.

Unfortunate them, the Oberoi account they were working on ended up consuming most of their time and they delayed by one hour. The drive home was quiet, each pondering on the mood they will find Anjali Raizada Joshi in.
