"Mom, why in the living hell are you driving us to our old house?" Yoongi inquires as he sits in the passenger seat of his mothers car, Seokyoon in the back taking a small nap.
He always does when he's in a moving vehicle.
Songhee shrugs, taking a quick glance at Yoongi before turning back to look at the road, "For memories? You act like we'll ever visit this place again." yes, this did come out as a lie, but Songhee made sure she held back her whimper so Yoongi wouldn't notice.
"Probably because I don't want to visit it," Yoongi mutters under his breath, the male leaning back in his seat and crossing his arms over his chest. Which is the truth.
He'd much rather be at home, with Sana, Seokyoon, and Hoseok, cuddled up watching a movie.
It's been a couple weeks since Seoyun went to tell them about the whole adoption situation with Sana, and Hoseok and Yoongi have been in the process of adopting her ever since. She is still allowed to live with the two, since Hoseok is still her legal guardian, just soon she'll be with them permanently as their daughter.
All three of them couldn't wait for the day Sana goes from Minatozuki to Jung. At first, Hoseok said she could keep her surname, but Sana insisted on changing it, she doesn't like the memories that came with that last name. Her aunt didn't either, and wished she could change the surname for Sana. Now, it is changing.
Soon enough, Songhee pulled up in front of the house she raised her boys in, the house that held awful memories she wishes to erase from her mind. She doesn't live there anymore, the elder woman owning an apartment in Seoul near her son and Seokyoon.
Yoongi stares at her expectantly, "So? Are we going near it or?..."
She takes a deep breath, turning to her son and smiling, "You go ahead up to the front door, i'll wait here."
"But-"
"No buts, just go," she shooed him away, the maroon haired male reluctantly exiting the vehicle and trudging up to the front door.
As he nears closer to it, he can clearly see a white note taped on the door. With furrowed eyebrows, Yoongi looks back at his mother, who has a smirk on her face, then back at the note. With suspicion coursing through his veins, Yoongi grabs the note and reads it.
Hi Yoon!
So, I know you must be super confused, but don't worry; your confusion will be resolved soon. I just want you to follow my instructions and don't be a little @#$!$ about it, yeah? So, say this out loud for me ---> Jung Hoseok thinks Min Yoongi is the most beautiful person on the planet.
With a sigh, Yoongi says the words out loud. No cut appeared on his body, which caused a small smile to form on the elder's face. He turns the note around, more words written on the back.
No cut appeared, right? It's because I do. Now, let Songhee tell you the next direction. See you soon, my love.
Jung Hoseok
Yoongi rushes inside of the car, the door slamming behind him as he sits down. Seokyoon, thankfully, doesn't wake up from the sound.
He looks at his mother, his heart beating way too fast to be normal, "Mom.. don't tell me-" he cuts himself off before the word can come out, he doesn't want to say it and then it not be true.
Songhee only smiles, starting up the car, "Off we go to Hayoon's," she proclaims with a wave of her hand.
Yoongi's heart doesn't stop beating out of his chest, tears welling up in his eyes at the possibility, yet he held them back. He takes deep breaths to calm himself down, which is no use; since when they arrive at the Jung residence, his breath picks up again.
