While guarding the Living World against Hell's spawn and infected hellions, the Soul Society has a new threat. But the enemy's are too scared to act on their plans.
I wonder why.
As morning broke, I got the hang of my swords again. I put them away and took off the special gloves I had Urahara make for me.
I lost my balance all of a sudden and started to fall backward, landing on my back. The sun was all the way up in the cloudless sky.
" The hell?" I asked sitting up, seeing that the only thing in sight was sand, brush and a sign for Paradise Falls diner.
I took my cell out, nothing. Then I checked my watched and nothing.
" The damn thing should be working."
I played with it for a few seconds then gave up when my stomach rumbled.
I slid down the mountainside and crossed the very desolate road, walking inside finding a very desolate dinner, there were only a few customers, Howard, and Sandra Andrews, along with there nineteen-year-old daughter Aubrey, one cook named Percy Walker, the owner Bob Hanson and his thirty-one-year-old son Jeep, the equally aged, heavily pregnant waitress Charlie, a divorced father Kyle Williams, and the cook with a prostatic hand Percy Walker.
" Well, that's just fantastic." I said opening the door, seeing Bob looking at the TV, which clearly has lost signal.
" Take a seat Miss, I'll be right back." Charlie said, walking past me.
I looked at the special and said screw it, I'll have a steak and some mashed potatoes.
" What can I get you?" Charlie asked walking up towards me.
" A fully cooked steak, mashed potatoes, and a medium sweet tea with lemon please."
" With ice?"
" Yes."
" Would you like a slice of apple pie with it?"
" Yes, separate please."
She walked off as I took out my wallet as another vehicle pulled up outside, an old grandma getting out of it, and with a walker in hand walked towards the dinner, then entered, Charlie repeating the same line she had told me as she brought me my sweet tea.
" Here you go, I know you folks need it." I said handing Charle a hundred dollar bill, and my number.
" There's no need-"
" It's fine. You need anything, just call me."
" That's so sweet of you."
" I'll have the same thing she's having, but make my steak rare." The old woman said.
The smell of steak and it made my mouth water. I couldn't wait to eat-
" Your babies going to burn." The old lady said.
I turned my attention to her.
" What did you say?" Charlie asked.
" I said your babies gonna fucking burn."
Then I noticed the ass load of flies surrounding her, then it hit me.
She was an Angel. I was confused. Nature starts acting up when Demons are near.
I was snapped out of it when Howard screams in pain as the old lady sank her teeth into his neck.
After he fell to the ground, I took out my pistol and shot her, my one bullet exploding, all three pieces hit the side of the womens head, then the women's body completely disintegrates, leaving a pile of ash, my bullets going into the drywall, leaving me a tad confused.
I notice a nineteen-year-old, holding a silver pistol, noticing his aura.

This kid was a demon.
We make eye contact then the kid turns around and heads back outside as I stand up and go to the aid of the bleeding out Howard as his wife appeared beside me.
I put my left hand over his neck and instead of fire, sparks appeared instead.
" The hell." I said, Sandra saying it at the same time, starring at my hand.
I notice the kid in front of me, then he teleports behind me, telling Kyle to help him out, were going to get him to the hospital.
I step back, followed by Sandra as Kyle bends down and uses a stack of napkins to hold pressure on Howard's neck, then the kid picked Howard up bridge style and out the door they went, Kyle maintaining pressure on Howard's neck as they ran to Kyle's black SUV, Percy following behind them.
I shut the door and then barricade it with a booth. " I suggest you follow my lead." I tell them.
" Who made you the boss?" Bob asked.
" I just suggested something, I'm not ordering you."
" What are you?" Charlie asked, quivering.
" Will get into that once we get this place secure."
