Chapter 4

I woke up when I heard that someone is breathing heavily beside me. My vision was trying to adjust to the brightness of the room. It made me blink a couple of times before everything is clear for me to see. Ang unang bumungad sa akin ay ang puting kisame. That made me remind of what happened last night. I heave a deep sigh at tumingin sa tabi ko. My eyes widen on what I saw.

Xeus was lying close to me. His chin was resting on my shoulder and his warm heavy breaths was touching my bare skin that made me shiver. I try not to gasp out loud ng mas humigpit ang pagkahawak niya sa beywang ko. My heartbeats was rushing again. Hindi ko naisip na makakatabi ko ang isang lalaking kinatatakutan ko sa pagtulog. Yung lalaking buong buhay ko hiniling na hindi ko makatagpo o makita. But here I am bound to him. I was chained to the most dangerous person of Dystopia. Not just to Dystopia but to the whole country.

I close my eyes again pretending to sleep ng gumalaw ang katawan niya. I heard him groan before removing his hands from my waist. I remain my posture not wanting him to know that I wake up first before him.

"Liah. I know you're awake."

I guess he already knows. I open my eyes and got up from the bed. Bowing down I take another deep breath.

"Good Morning Ma- Xeus."

Muntik ko na naman siyang tawagin sa nakasanayan ko. I don't want to piss him off. I had enough of the beating already.

Mas lalo akong napayuko ng hinawakan niya ang ulo ko at ginulo ang buhok ko. Wala siyang salita na bumaba ng kama niya. I stayed there waiting for his orders. Pero naisip ko na hindi pala ako dapat maghintay sa higaan niya kaya bumaba ako at tumayo sa tabi nito.

I wince when my I felt that some part of my body were aching. Napahawak pa ako sa magkabilang tuhod ko dahil sumasakit ang mga sugat ko. Agad naman akong napatayo ng bumalik siya at may dalang damit sa kamay niya.

I tense when he put down the clothes on his bed making a soft thud.

"Go take a bath. And change into this."

Napatango nalang ako sa sinabi niya at dahan dahang kinuha ang damit niya sa kama. I bowed to him bago naglakad palabas ng kwarto niya. I release some air as soon as I step out of his bed room. Napatingin ako sa pinto na katabi ng kwarto niya. It was the door that leads to his bathroom. I have only 15 minutes to finish cleaning myself. Well it's better than a splash of pail water everyday. Calming myself down I slowly slid my self down bago naglakad ulit papasok sa banyo. I'm going to slip into his clothes again after taking a bath.

The sound of the forks and spoons were all is heard in the whole dining area. Malaki ang dining nila, kasing laki ng petshop. I was sitting half a meter beside him at hinihintay na makatapos siya. Though I'm hungry I still tried my best to hide my stomach's rumbling. Xeus was sitting at the edge of a 15 meter long glass table. A guy also sit opposite to him while the other 10 was at the side. The smell of their food made me crave more. I haven't eaten the amount I needed for months and now I'm craving for some foods that I used to eat when I didn't run away from home. Well that place was not a home for me. It was hell and the pet shop was it's mirror. And this, I can't tell yet.

Napa angat ako ng tingin ng biglang hinigit ni Xeus ang kadena sa collar ko. Yup he made me wear my collar but not on my neck. It's in my left ankle. It's a sign that I am his pet and no one is going to touch me except him alone.

His gaze met mine pero sandali lang yun dahil iniyuko ko agad ang aking ulo dahil baka kung ano na ang sasabihin ng ibang mga kasamahan niya. He motioned me to go near him kaya dahan-dahan kong nilakad ang natitirang espasyo sa pagitan namin. Nang marating ko na ang tabi niya ay agad akong napasinghap ng hinigit niya ang kamay ko dahilan na napa upo ako sa mga binti niya. I felt my face burning. Niyuko ko ang ulo ko, natatakot na tingnan siya dahil sa hiya at pag-alalang nagkamali ako ng paggalaw.
