Always with You // A Will Byers X Reader Story

Chapter 2 - Movies

Y/n woke up in Will's arms to which she just snuggled closer to him, she hasn't felt this much comfort since she moved. The acting industry put so much on her shoulders to be the "best actress she can be," and it worked and she appreciates that, but it took so much energy that she wonders if it was all worth it in the end. She turned to the clock and noticed that it was already 3 pm and they had overslept. "Hey, Will, wake up," Will mumbled a no and Y/n just smiled, "come on, Byers, I gotta go home and shower," Will grumbled so Y/n just blew on his face which would always wake him up, this was the most gentle way to make him wake up without him falling off the bed. 

"Fineee." Will finally let her go so she managed to escape the room, she was greeted by Ms. Byers.

"Hey Y/n!"

"Oh, hi Ms. Byers! I hope you didn't mind that I slept over, I didn't really mean to."

"You're always welcome here! Oh, by the way, your mom said she won't be home until tomorrow or so, you're supposed to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and if you want, you can sleep over too."

"Oh, okay. I'm just gonna go change and I'll be right back to help you with anything." Y/n quickly ran to her house, took a shower, and chose an outfit for the day, Will mentioned that they're going to the movies today so she had to be prepared for that. She took her string bag, filled it with the necessities, and ran back. She helped Joyce with any cleaning up after the three of them ate lunch, excluding Jonathan who had to run to work. 

Y/n used her skateboard to get to Starcourt while Will cycled next to her, they were just chatting about life. When they got there, Will introduced Max to Y/n and Mike still wasn't there so the girls just bonded and talked about Y/n since Max was a fan of her work. "There's Mike Wheeler, finally." 

You're late," Lucas said, Mike apologized, "again."

"We're gonna miss the opening." Will pointed out to everyone,

"Yeah if you guys keep whining about it. Let's go!" Mike attempted to change the topic,

"'If you guys keep whining about it. Nyeh-nyeh-nyeh.'" Lucas tried to mock Mike which Y/n chuckled at,

"Just please stop talking, dude." The group then ran in to the mall as Lucas kept on pressing Mike about El. They arrived at Scoops Ahoy where Steve, the one with the pretty hair, as Y/n thought,  let them in the back route,

"Is this legal?" Y/n asked,

"Not at all." Will answered as they both laugh,

"What are you laughing about over there?" Mike asked from the front of the line,

"Nothing special, just you."

"That hurt my feelings." Mike pretended to act hurt,

"Wow Y/n, you're such a bully." Will nudged her,

"You know you guys love me."

"We try." Lucas called out.

"Wow. What great friends I have. I like Max more than you already, Lucas."

"Hey! She's mine."

"Yeah sure." Max added and Y/n laughed at Lucas as they continued walking.

They finally arrived at the movie theater, Will and Y/n was passing out the snacks when there was a sudden blackout which made everyone gasp, "the fuck?" Mike said,

"If I'm about to get jump scared I swear to god I will punch someone." Y/n warned,

"Ok.. so I'm gonna back up." Lucas realized,

"You were trying to scare me."

"Yes." Lucas admitted,

"Bully." Y/n scoffed.

The power outage didn't last long, maybe a few minutes or so. Y/n was still skeptical because she heard a couple say that this was the first black out in a very long time. But she brushed it off and looked over to Will who had a scared look on his face, "Hey, you okay?" Y/n asked,

"Yeah." He replied,

"You sure? Like super duper sure?"

"Of course." Will nodded which didn't really convince Y/n so she put her head on his shoulder to somewhat comfort him which it somewhat did. He's definitely hiding something, Y/n thought as she focused back on the movie.
