Third Person POV
The strange creature continues to pulsate from El's left leg, making El scream in severe pain. "What is that?" Erica asked in disgust,
"There's something in there." Mike pointed out which was followed by another of El's screams, the creature continues to move around, stretching Eleven's skin and made it pour out more blood, Y/n looked away to stop herself from possibly throwing up, gripping onto Will's arm for support,
"Jesus Christ." Dustin said,
"Keep her talking. Keep her awake, okay?" Jonathan told everyone before he ran off to get somethings,
"Jesus Christ."
"Um.. um.. keep her talking... so El, how's your day?" Lucas asked,
"Really. Really?" Max scoffed, Y/n managed to make some lights open so that they can see better,
"Hey, hey, hey. Stay awake, stay awake. Let's get her on this side, on this side." Mike suggested, they all helped to move El,
"It's uh-- You know, it's not actually that bad. There was a... The goalie on my soccer team, Beth Wildfire, this other girl slid into her leg and the bone came out of her knee, six inches or something, it was insane." Robin shared,
"Robin." Steve stopped her before she could dive into more detail,
"This is why I'm never going to be a doctor." Y/n admitted,
"Yeah?" Robin asked,
"You're not helping."
"I'm sorry." Jonathan ran back and put the knife he got on El's leg,
"Holy shit. Holy shit." Dustin panicked as Y/n dug her face into Will's sleeve, hoping that she won't pass out, Will's hand was on the back of her head. While Mike and Dustin keep her still, Jonathan attempts to cut out her wound. As he cuts open the skin and puts his fingers in the cut, everyone exclaimed in disgust, some even looked away but it was one of those things that are so disgusting you can't look away. Eleven intervenes and takes over, using her powers to fling out the creature, while screaming, she managed to break the glass of a store behind them.
"Okay, that's it. El, you are the bravest person I've ever met and will ever meet in my entire life." Y/n said as the creature attempts to escape but is crushed by Hopper who arrives at Starcourt with Joyce and Murray.
"Okay, so, just to be clear, this... this big fleshy spider thing that hurt El, it's some kind of gigantic... weapon?" Steve questioned his own sanity,
"Yes." Nancy answered,
"But instead of like, screws and metal, the Mind Flayer made its weapon... with melted people."
"Yes, exactly."
"Yeah, okay. I-- Yeah, I'm just making sure." He thought that he should've stayed home that day,
"Are we sure this thing is still out there, still alive?" Joyce asked,
"El beat the shit out of it, but, yeah, it's still alive." Max confirmed,
"But if we close the gate again--" Will bagan,
"We cut the brain off from the body." Y/n continued,
"And kill it. Theoretically." Lucas finished.
"Yoo-hoo!" Papers rustling echoed throughout the empty mall, "Yoo-hoo!" Murray walked over to the group with a map.
Erica and Murray have a little quarrel but Dustin offers to be the navigators for the adults, Hopper declined. Agreeing they're going to die down at the Russian base, Dustin, Lucas, Mike, and Will finally rejoined, admitting they missed each other, and hugged, Erica ruined the moment.
