The rest of the night is spent this way; everyone dancing to their heart's content, eating, and enjoying the warm feeling in their chests. There are no worries whatsoever, that was all forgotten with the cheerful atmosphere and bright smiles of everyone. Even Amber was able to completely forget the pain in her head and the weakness in her body.

The night is perfect and exactly what everyone needed to relax and let go of reality.

But reality will always come back to remind us all about the cruel truth.

The morning sun comes back again, shinning on Amber's face and slowly stirring her awake. She groans as she pushes her body up and sits back against the headboard. Last night left her body exhausted, yet she doesn't regret any of it.

Kicking her feet off the bed, she rushes to her closet to pick out her clothes for today. The boys managed to drag Amber into going on an important mission with them. She sighs and settles her armour on her bed before leaving to wash herself.

They have to leave quite early, which is why Amber does everything in a rush. After she's done getting ready she goes to Miss Grandma's room, wanting to say goodbye before she leaves.

"Good morning!" She calls out as she enters.

Miss Grandma looks at her and smiles, "Oh, darling. Good morning."

Amber sits next to her, grabbing her hand in hers. "I'll be gone for today, ok? The boys want me to go on a mission with them."

Miss Grandma nods weakly, "Alright, sweetie. Don't come home too late and take good care of yourself."

"I will! I love you," Amber reaches down and kisses her grandmother's forehead sweetly.

"I love you more, my dear."

After the heartwarming moment, Amber stands up and leaves with a heavy feeling in her chest that she can't explain.

"About time!" Ash comments once he sees Amber approaching.

Amber rolls her eyes and holds back the urge to punch him in the gut. "Yeah, yeah. Do we have everything?"

"Yep!" Zayne replies, "We're all ready to go."

The guards secure their bags on their horses for them. The main guard steps forward and begins to speak, "Everything is set. We're counting on you four."

They nod, feeling honored to be handed a mission despite being as young as they are. They hop on their horses and smile back at the guards, taking off into the forest.

Their ride is quiet for the first few minutes, but the silence was quickly broken by Daniel speaking up. "What exactly is our mission?" He asks.

"Geez, you're hopeless," Zayne sighs, "We need to go to the village next door to convince their leader to form an alliance with us."

"And if this all goes to hell then we'll probably get imprisoned by them," Ash adds.

"Why are you so negative?" Amber glares at Ash, who just shrugs in response.

The young group chat to keep themselves from getting bored as they ride to the neighbor village. Even though everything is peaceful and it has been like that for a long time, it's good to make alliances just in case they ever need from one another.

Confidence is the first thing you'll get from the expression on their faces, but deep down they're nervous and fearful. Their minds are quick into making scenarios where they fail and their villages end up in war, images of them being locked up and chained to the wall. Despite the fear rising up their throats, they fight off those thoughts, tricking their fear by laughing and smiling amongst themselves.
