Fred Mockingjay Part 2

District 2, Their Allies

Fred comes to, but in a morphling haze. He's been drugged up along with his nap. Enobaria, another former tribute, comes in to his hospital room. Enobaria steals Fred's drugs and he lets her, because Enobaria has really taken a lot for their side. Enobaria asks what are you going to do, the camera crew will be in here soon. Fred says I'm going to jump out of bed and say that no body can kill me anymore! Enobaria says your too funny Fred. Enobaria leaves after Bertha comes in. She and Fred talk about whether what they did in 2 was moral or not. They might disagree because he's been through the Games and she hasn't. Bertha says she thinks they were victorious in 2. The camera crew comes in and asked about Fred's bravery. Fred gets out of bed and shouts no one can kill me anymore because living a life is all I'm about, oh, yeah! Soon after, Plutarch comes to update him on how things are. The rebels have been able to isolate the Capitol. Plutarch says the people there won't be able to hack it for long. Plutarch reveals plans for another propo, the marriage of Finnick and Annie. Fred momentarily freaks out that the rebels want him and Kevin to have a fake wedding, luckily but they don't. Everyone in 13 becomes excited about the upcoming wedding. Fred suggests that Annie wear one of the dresses designed and made for her to wear. Fred and him team miss Cinna. The wedding goes off beautifully. Finnick and Annie are truly happy. Dancing follows the ceremony. Enobaria tells Fred that he should dance, so Fred joins in, along with Holly, Judy and Bertha. The celebrations end with a special wedding cake. Fred realizes that Kevin is the one who made the cake. Haymitch draws Fred aside to explain. He says Kevin is improving, but has lapses, and that he's requested a meeting with Fred. He's taken aback but agrees. That night, they meet. Lots of people are watching them, and Kevin is tied up in case something bad happens. It almost seems like he's forgotten him, like he knows of him but doesn't. Fred panics and wants to get out if there. But then Kevin tells him he does have a few good memories. He realizes he had feelings for him and asks if he did for him, but Fred totally sidesteps the question. They have a fight about Bertha and part on bad terms. As Fred leaves, he starts to feel bad about his character.
