Quick A/n: there is an instance of an unwanted kiss in this chapter so please be careful as you read <3

When I had finally gone to bed, the sun was already peaking above the horizon. The sunrise pinks hadn't even begun to show. I only slept for a few hours when I could smell breakfast.

My stomach gave a sudden, uncontrollable rumble as I realized I was starving.

I silently walked down the short hallway and into the kitchen.

Upon my entering, I noticed Kai glaring at me (usual), Zane cooking (also usual), and Jay blushing as he picked at his food (not usual at all). I furrowed my brow as I grabbed some food for myself and left the room.

"Where do you think you're going?" Kai asked. I turned around.

"I'm eating in my room. It's not like you want me in here anyway," I said back and left before he could say anything else. He glared at me as a I retreated, I could feel it.

I ate by myself in my room in silence. The quiet was nice as a contrast to Kai's annoying voice and Lloyd's constant rambling. Breakfast was amazing as usual.

"Y/n, we're going on a mission. Please don't cause trouble. Nya's going to be here just don't run off ok bye!" Jay said as he opened my door suddenly and then ran off.

I rolled my eyes and returned to my book.

When the group of six came back from their mission, it was late into the night. I was surprised to see Jay in horrible condition with blood in his hair and a deep wound in his side. I gasped and rushed to him, leading him to his room.

Once in his room, I pushed a hand to his forehead. His eyes nearly rolled into the back of his head and glazed over. He fell back onto his bed.

I fought back tears as I looked at the wound in his side. It was awful. Blood was seeping through his gi and staining his bed.

I gently placed my hand on his side and focused. I could feel the wound tightly knit itself back together under my touch. The blood stained my hand and I cringed at the warm liquid, but didn't pull back.

The wound on his side healed, I moved to the bruises and cuts on his head. I delved my fingers into his hair and found multiple bumps there. I healed those too and then moved on to the various cuts on his face, arms, and torso.

Once his cuts were all gone, he moved a bit as he began to wake up.

He stirred slightly and grumbled. "What's going on?" He asked, checking his bearings.

"You got hurt really bad in a fight, now go back to sleep," I said, pushing him back down.

"Why are your hands glowing?" Jay asked.

"Because I'm healing you," I answered.

  "But how-"

  "Shh.

  "But-"

"Go back to sleep. I'll explain later. lt's a long story," I insisted. He finally laid down and closed his eyes somewhat.

Feeling sorry for him, I pushed just a little extra healing power into him to numb any aches and pains he happened to be experiencing. His eyes became glassy again as they fluttered.

"Good night, Y/n," he muttered and snuggled into his blankets.

I brushed back a small bit of hair from his forehead. "Good night, Jay," I said.

With Jay all healed, and my power extremely taxed, I walked back to my room and sat on my bed. I could feel sleep pull at my eyelids and I laid down on my mattress.
