Hey everyone! It's me again! I'm sorry I haven't had the chance to write anything but today I'm going to do it. In this story, I'll be talking about suicidal thoughts. So, if you're sensitive to that, please turn away now. Without further ado, let's begin.

Souda was used to the nightmares that plagued his mind whenever he slept. It was a daily occurrence by this point. His father would stand over him and reprimand him until he woke up in a fit of tears and screaming. Whenever he woke up, he would always be reminded of how lonely he was. The dark room seemed to mock him as he looked around deliriously.

This time when he woke up, someone was outside his door. The knocking snapped him out of his haze quickly as he never heard that before. Could it be him- no. Why was he thinking of him? He was supposed to think of Miss Sonia. Right?

He stood up and walked to the door. In the glow of the moon, he could barely see the knob of the door. It seemed to taunt him as Souda rolled his sleeves down to cover his markings. He sighed and opened the door and sure enough there he was. The one true tormentor of his nightmares. The very thought of Souda being together with him was enough to make him blush and want to curl into a small ball.

"Hello mortal," Gundham said. His features were illuminated by one of the streetlights by their cabins.

"Hey man, what's got you up so late?" he smiled, trying to seem polite.

"Your incessant screeching woke up one of my hellbeasts and they bugged me to come over and check on you," he said, stepping into the room, "So what has been going on?"

Souda's heart stopped. He knew. God, why? Why him? Why not anyone else?

"I don't know what you're talking about man. My screaming isn't that loud." Dammit, why did he let that slip?!

"So you admit that it was you. Then why have you decided to disturb my slumber?"

Souda's mind raced to find an answer. Should he just tell him or just leave it be?

"There's no point lying to me, mortal. I can tell when someone is lying. So just tell the truth," Gundham said, snapping him out of his thoughts.

He sighed and closed the door. He sat down on the bed and felt Gundham sit beside him. Then he did the one thing he swore to never do again. He rolled up his sleeves.

He avoided Gundhams gaze as the truth was revealed. Gundham scooped up his arm and began to count the scars.

"What are you doing?"

"I want to see how many times I could've saved you."

At this, Souda choked up. He... cared? It warmed his heart but also scared him. How many times has he wanted to reach out but held back?

"Don't cry my dear. I'm here now," Gundham muttered, holding him closer. He gripped his shirt, tears streaming down his face. They stayed like that until the morning, with Souda eventually falling asleep in Gundhams lap.

When he woke up, Souda saw that his wounds were wrapped up in clean bandages. Gundham was next to him, gently brushing his fingers through his neon hair. Souda shifted, scaring his crush. The breeder hid his blushing face in the beautiful purple scarf that Souda loved. He smiled and brushed his hand against the dark lord's face.

Finally, the light to guide him out of the darkness of his nightmares sat next to him and called him his dear.
