Bunnies

Hello everybody! I have a new one shot for y'all.

There was a light breeze that blew through the house as Souda sat in the living room. He flipped the channels, eventually landing on an Animal Channel. Roman nudged into his lap and lay their head on his right hand.

"'Suppose I'm not moving from this spot for a while," he muttered, rubbing behind their ears.

A car pulled into the driveway and out came Tanaka with a small box in his hands. The flaps were open and small bunny ears could be seen over the top. Souda pushed Roman off his lap and opened the door as the dogs went wild. Tanaka walked in, kissing Souda on the cheek before placing the box on the counter in the kitchen.

"Hello there mortal. It is a nice day isn't it?" Tanaka said, lifting the bunnies out of the box.

Souda closed the door and joined the boy in the kitchen. The little bunnies matched the tiling that lay across the floor which was a light brown color. They thumped back and forth across the counter.

"Lemme guess, we're fostering 'em until they get adopted?" Souda said, scratching the head of one.

"You would be correct."

"In that case you better not get attached like last time."

"Too late," Tanaka smiled, scooping up Souda in a hug.
