A Gift?

hello everybody! it's me again with an idea i got from UltimateNobody 

tw: depression, mentioned fight, and swearing

another day, another 24 hours in bed. this was what kazuichi called his 'routine'. it was hardly a routine by this point, more of his depression flaring up again. it made him hate everything about himself and his life. he sighed and pulled his blanket over his head, wanting to disappear. 

everything about his life as the ultimate mechanic was loud and wanted him to leave it all, whether it be by death or just staying in bed for the rest of his days. in his bed, kazuichi didn't have to face all of the shit in his life. compulsive heterosexuality, commitments, responsibilities, nothing. 

though he did admit, his lover, gundham did make everything a little bit better. even his presence didn't make everything better. kazuichi just felt so helpless and tired. 

"darling, are you okay?"

he sat up and looked at the door where the voice came from. it sounded like gundham. 

he can't see me like this.

kazuichi wiped his tears away and tried to make himself slightly presentable. not like it mattered  since everybody hated him anyways but he didn't want his lover to worry. it was the last thing he wanted to see, especially after he got into a fight with the ultimate breeder that morning. 

he opened the door and felt arms wrapped around his waist immediately. kazuichi looked up into his lovers eyes and saw nothing but guilt. gundham let go and walked into the room. the mechanic sat on his bed and watched gundham hide something behind his back as he sat down next to his lover. 

"what do you have?"

"well, i felt poorly about myself after we fought this morning. to make you and myself feel better, i got a little hell beast for you and i."

at that, gundham pulled out a tiny kitten. it mewled as it was passed over to the boys hands. kazuichi covered his mouth as it licked his thumb. he felt tears begin to form in his eyes. gundham noticed and pulled him into his side. he rubbed his lovers right shoulder as he shook with sobs. 

"th- thank you babe. i- i love you so fuckin' much." 

"i love you too darling. let me know next time if you're feeling sad, okay?"

"i promise."
