Surprise Kiss

Heyo! I'm back! This one shot will be when the students arrive at the island and Monokuma doesn't show up.

Kazuichi sat silent in the dining room. Everyone else was down at the beach but he was left alone. It was rather cold since he was sitting near the air conditioner. He looked at his hands in his lap. Nobody had bothered to check in with him for two hours now so he's given up hope with hanging out with anyone.

He went to leave but stopped with the sound of quick footsteps sounded up the stairs. Gundham ran up and made eye contact with the mortal. Kazuichi looked away and ran his fingers through his hair.

"You okay, mortal? I was not told that you were by yourself..." he said.

"I'm fine. Just pissed everyone left me behind," Kazuichi said, shoving his hands in his pockets.

Gundham smiled in relief and walked over to him. He stood merely two inches away from Kazuichi, causing him to blush. He looked into Gundham's eyes, noticing they were shinier up close.

Kazuichi had been contemplating his feelings for the boy but never confronted him about it in fear of the consequences. He supposed that now the perfect time to confess. Gundham rambled about his devas while Kazuichi gathered the courage to confess.

He grabbed Gundham's violet scarf and pulled him down to his height to kiss him. And he did. It was only for a few seconds, but to the boys it felt like forever. Kazuichi quickly let go, fearing what Gundham would say. The boy in question flushed a deep red and seemed happier than he was before.

"I'm sorry I did that man, I should leave, I-"

Kazuichi was cut off by Gundham returning the kiss but with an embrace. After a few more seconds, they broke it off and stayed in the hug.

"I love you too, mortal. Thank you confessing to me," Gundham said, resting his chin on Kazuichi's head.

Kazuichi smiled and buried his head into Gundham's chest.
