Tokoyami POV
I was strolling to school. I was early like every other day. I saw Asahi also coming. He had a determined face even though he got beat up by Nejire-Senpai yesterday. I sighed, he was probably going to train his quirks before school in the gym. I decided to follow him to see what he was going to do.
It was kinda dark today so I had to keep Dark Shadow in check. Asahi walked inside the gym. It was brightly lit so I don't have to worry about Dark Shadow rampaging. I knew it. "Asahi, who told you about the secret training before school" I said reliving my location. Asahi jumped of surprise. He didn't even know I was following him.
He turned to face me and answered "Nejire-Chan did. I thought if I train I might be able to join the Big Three."
I laughed which is rare. "The Big Three are way out of your league. Even Nejire-Senpai, you should give up trying to join them."
"You don't know that" Asahi contented.
"I do, those three are way too strong. Lots of people tried to join them but failed" I resisted.
"Is that a challenge?"
"It is. If you can't beat me you can't beat The Big Three."
Asahi took off his coat and threw it onto the bleachers. "Well what are we waiting for?" Asahi asked. I sighed as I threw my jacket to the bleachers. I had to beat him before kids or teachers started to gather around us. I released Dark Shadow, I could feel it try to control me, it was feeding on the little rage I had.
Asahi stood and looked at Dark Shadow, as if... Wait!!! He's trying to copy it. I launched Dark Shadow at Asahi, trying to end the battle quickly. Asahi blocked it with a wall of ice. It seems like he took a liking to Totoroki's quirk. Dark Shadow went around the wall of ice only to find another Dark Shadow.
"I'll think I'll name you Fumage" I heard Asahi say. Dark Shadow was fighting 'Fumage' the Dark Shadow, leaving only me to fight Asahi. This was gonna be brutal.
